Aleph have some great heavy infantry and elite soldiers. They don't have the best toys but I think they are up there on the list. The only thing they don't do well is cheap models. I'm far from an Infinity veteran but whenever I make a list I find myself sighing and reworking it because as cool as those 4 models I have are 5 orders will not be enough at 300 points.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

The basic Aleph Myrmidon trooper has the immensely annoying (for the other side) optical disruption device (ODD). Makes them very hard to hit unless you are using template weapons or multi-spectral visor L2. They do die easily, the same as any other line-trooper, when they get hit but it's getting to that point!
