Boy, if the fact that a random Imperial Guard tank managed to become a meme through no real reason isn't magic I don't know what is to you.

The crimson hunters turned back an invading hiveship from one of their worlds. That bird thing is one of the best air to air fighters in the game (not including FW). BS 5 with 4 shots of STR 8 weaponry takes down just about any other flyer in the game with relative easy not to mention the vector dancer rule.

It's also very vulnerable to return fire. A Vendetta can easily take it down if it gets the first round of shooting. But if it does get the first volley... yeah....

There is also this: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Imperial_Navy/VULTURE-GUNSHIP.html. A twin linked punisher cannon means one really, really sad Crimson Hunter. It also has Vector Dancer and superior armor. And looks a ton better. But you did say outside of Forge World so this is just a general point.

But.. Do you have magic cats?

Where is my magic cat? Dataslate pussy of the Eldar?

Last time I checked the imperium of man had lost mars and they were on the verge of having their homeworld attacked... so if GW would just advance the story you wouldn't have your homeworld either.

Wait what? I thought it was Cadia that was on the VERGE or being lost. And even then, Creed is most likely waiting to reveal that He's hidden all the loyalist primarchs and several titan legions behind key lamp posts deep in enemy lines and that Alpharious is secretly his informant.

The enemies of Mankind may employ dark sciences or alien weapons beyond Humanity's ken, but such deviance comes to naught in the face of honest human intolerance back by a sufficient number of guns.

Creed is like Mike Ditka... Creed vs the entire Eldar race, daaaaaaa Creed!

Seems like you were right. They didnt lose Mars. I thought I read it somewhere... Oh well. In any case its said to be mankinds last stand against the Xenos anyways and I think if players actually had some impact on the Storyline Via offical games, then the imperium of man would deffinately be fighting a losing battle (due to where they stand in the Codex Teirs)

I don't know about that one... are we talking FW titans as well? because I think the humies would have somethin to say about that.

If you really wanted to add in the titans then you'd know that the Eldar Superheavies are far superior to the Imperial ones. Eldar titan holofields are the only thing that can detour D weapons. Void shields can absorb the fire but being Armor 12 thats nothing that can't be brought down by Brightlances prior to shooting D weaponry at it.
