Aquila breakdown from Rogue Trader rulebook. The blind head is the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, who are typically blinded by the soul binding ritual with the Emperor

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Other way round, as the Telepathica is the sighted head... but that's not the given explanation in most descriptions of the aquila, it is indeed "looking to the past, blind to the future".
Now, the diagram presented there is very much out of date, though the current concept is similar. Each feather on each wing represents an aspect of the Adeptus Terra, the metal claw is the Adeptus Mechanichus (hence it is all cybernetic), the other is (iirc) the Adeptus Astartes.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

Just found this post from a quick search... Immolators are now showing out of stock as well. Most other models have now been unlisted or shuffled into 'unit' packs at £50 a go (!).

£50/go.
Huh. That's a reduction.

Interesting. I'd like to say that this might force their hand a bit on getting new models released, but they did leave the Brets hanging for a long time. But still, I'm fairly confiednt that there will be an update at some point.
Oh, also, the Immo has gone out of stock before but has come back. It's not all that unusual.

Historically the French had six or seven different ways to spell it..
A lot of people forge that everything from Shakespeare and before him, the French and English spelt phonetically! And their cursive and grammar was considered much more important than spelling...

Yup. Knight and Knife used to be Nife and Night. Or Nite. Made a whole lot more sense than modern English, where it's unsurprising to have two or more silent letters for a common word.

The silent letters are to help people too stupid to differentiate homophones in written text, because its SO much more difficult to read context. lol.
Anyway, its not a Fleur de Lys. Gods. It's the Sigil Sororitas, people! Honestly...
:p
