Subject: Khorne We Do It? Bring back the best Chaos God...?
Form a spearhead with the Lord of Skulls in the back, Kharn with the Zerkers in the middle, Cultists forming the vanguard of the assault force.
Point it at the nearest HQ formation and slowly tie up forces in CC peeling away layers of the spear with the Lord of Skulls tank shocking into CC with HQ unit as the end result.
I call it Blood Tide. The look on the opponent's face....

Take whatever the big khorne 888pts daemon is He's goooooood
Note to the reader: my username is not arrogance. No, my name is taken from the most excellent of commanders: Lord Castellan Creed, of the Imperial Guar- I mean Astra Militarum - who has a special rule known only as "Tactical Genius"... Although nowhere near as awesome as before, it now allows some cool stuff for the Guar- Astra Militarum - player. FEAR ME AND MY TWO WARLORD TRAITS.

Yes! Khorne fans! Yes! At last! I'm so bored of being told 'don't take a khorne list, they suck'. I was even contemplating a Tzeench list just to be able to play chaos. But I don't want to do that. I have had some success with my khorne list, managed to table a tau player. But I want to add daemons in for fluff. Not long picked the daemon book up. So I'll be ready to start throwing lists together soon.
Either way, thank you OP. You Sir, are a Legend.

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

Heres a Khorne list I used for giggles back in 6th. Haven't tried it in 7th yet. (Will probably go with Nurgle for 7th and the jumping with jink shenanigans, but we'll see)
I called it Blood Plague in my head, since my troop choices were plaguebearers.
It reaped many a skull for Khorne, and the Bloodthirsters brought down Chapter Masters and Riptide squads.

Here is a new mono Khorne list I'm going to be trying out next week.
The general plan is threat saturation. With the 12'' scouting Khorne dogs, they'll be in charge range turn 2. Against most 1500 point lists, that's scary enough that my Bloodcrushers should be arriving into my opponent's deployment zone relatively unmolested.
So, scout all the dogs up. Turn 1, move everything forward. If I go first then the Dogs will move up into my opponent's deployment zone while my 'Crushers get pretty damn close to it. If I go second, the Dogs assault and tie up high-dakka units while my 'Crushers move up to their deployment zone. If I'm lucky at least one of the Bloodletter units will come in on turn 2, dropping in without scatter 6'' ahead of my bloodcrushers. On turn 3 the 'Crushers and the Bloodletters assault whatever's close and the game might as well be over from there.

This is a little combo I have been using to make bloodletters useful.
Get a bastion w/ HB and quad gun and the Escape Hatch upgrade. The bloodletters shoot the HB and quad gun depending on available targets and stay semi safe mid board in the bastion. Then when an objective within ~18-24" becomes important or a juicy infantry target comes within range then jump out using the hatch and either run onto the objective or charge the infantry. The bastion can shoot the weapons not in use at BS2 but having a BS5 quad gun to intercept flyers is pretty good and they actually become useful in their melee capacity if given a decent method to charge unit without getting shot at by bolters first.

Escape hatch prevents them from charging, so they still have to stand around getting shot at.
That said, a bunker with a hatch is still a baller way to essentially scout 20 bloodletters plus heralds 18" forward on turn one.
