What basing material did you use?

I like it blue, leave it. Your other models look awesome too. I really like the look of Dust Tactics but can't persuade my mates to get into it.

After a long hiatus, I just got another model painted. Picked up a Melor on the ridiculous FFG sale and got it painted tonight since I'm "working" from home. Bad lighting really hides a lot of weathering, so I apologize. Looks better if you click on it and zoom in in the gallery.

By the way, I realize you posted a few months ago, so I apologize, but for basing I do Stirland Mud caked on the base then lightly painted around the edge, then glob on PVA glue and dust with Woodland Scenics flock (don't know the color name anymore). I then add a couple Army Painter swamp tufts. Bases take me maybe a minute and look good enough for me. I'm a tabletop quality painter and am far more interested in speed and looking good enough and not winning any Golden Demons.
