At least here it sort of makes sense, as it looks like that is a mass crypt that has been broken open. Much more believeble than a random fissure filled with skulls.

Hate to think how much they have to pay out in compensation for ankles sprained on that wonky pavement.

That gutter has to be practical though, for whenever the streets run with blood.

The best part is because of the metal bars the gutters won't even catch anything until there's already a few inches of water in one of the riveted street things. Which must make all the suspensionless vehicles even more fun.

Maybe they do this to give the average citizen that death-world feel, right at home?

It's not a grave yard! It's the remains of a Skulldanium mine. Clearly they sealed the mine and built a city on top.

That there made me chuckle. I think you might be right.

I think we should all wait for an image of the full board before jumping to any conclusions. The skull bits look to be like a memorial kinda thing they've laid over it?

Just the usual "MOAR SKULLZ" aesthetic that they have running through most of their kits and all of their terrain. I mean - gak - even GW's Wood Elves are covered in skulls these days...

Better than the tree hugging hippies that they were before though eh? lol

What conclusions, pray tell, have been jumped to so far, exactly (other than the presence or non-presence of an old disused skulldanium mine forming the foundations of the city)? People are reacting to the picture that's there. Nothin' wrong with that.

Quoted for god-damned truth.

I don't mind the look of it all that much; there's a few oddities like the bars on the streets and very odd sidewalks, but you know, grimdark or whatever. The inevitable pit of skulls, well that's just grimderp.

I didn't even dislike the normal realm of battle until I realized it was covered in pits of skulls. The only place I've seen one in person is the sole GW out here, and they filled the skullpits on all but one board...

I think it makes more sense in a city; have to have some place to bury the workers after they finish building, right?

Seriously though I got nothing; the skulls everywhere is pretty silly IMO.
