On a slightly more serious note, Mount Your Friends.

Also. Morrowind. Just play that gak man!

While Morrowind is my favorite and maybe the best of the Elder Scrolls games, I prefer oblivion for screwing around. Morrowind is better for immersion in the world.

So unless you're a gay man/straight woman/bisexual, not fun at all?

Over the years I personally have found my own rather fun.

The Stanley Parable. It's pretty short, it never ends. It is game yet it isn't a game. I's recommend you check out the demo on steam (even if you have the game you should check out the demo, it's very good). It's also quite cheap. You have to be willing to think a bit outside the box to get some of the endings though.

Indeed, because the world is kinda boring and the main quest not particularly pressing you can just go nuts with messing about, I put so many hours into that game on xbox and PC.

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

I second Team Fortress 2. I've been playing for three years, one of them with nothing but a trackpad, and it is still the most fun you can have with friends in my opinion. Plus it's free!

Just Cause 2 gets my vote for "Best game to get drunk while playing/invite a few buddies over and take turns who can do the most ridiculous gak". It even has multiplayer on the PC now with hundreds of players possible per server.

Brutal Legend can be fun, but takes a bit to really get going.

Team Fortress 2 is always good for a laugh and is free to boot. Grab some friends on Mann vs Machine and come up with the worst possible loadouts to subject each other to is always fun

Gang Beasts also looks like a ton of fun. Its a multiplayer fighting game and everyone I've seen that played it loves it. So many funny ways to beat each other up.

If you love driving, look up "Next Car Game" I believe. Its got the most insane damage models ever and is just awesome. Its got demo derbies, endurance races, dirt racing, and has more added all the time as its still in Alpha. There are some hilariously over the top crashes in that game thanks to the excellent physics engine.

On the PS1, Ape Escape, & Crash Bandicoot.

The original playstation had lots of eeasy to play fun games.

Ape Escape envoles you catching monkeys in 3rd person 3D enviroment. Using a net. Controls are using the 2 thumbsticks, simple, catchy, fun.

Crash is the PS's Sonic, or was. Tunnel like maps in 3D. Platformer where you spin and jump to kill enemies and break stuff. Like Sonic/ Mario.
