Did they repair Heldrake's broken neck? I'd really like to put a Hades Autocannon on mine without making it trash.

No idea. Its not finished downloading yet.
**Edit- You'll have to go to the Black Library and look at the FAQ& Errata section
http://www.blacklibrary.com/faqs-and-errata.html
***No they haven't changed the arc of fire for the Heldrake. Still counts as a hull mounted weapon so it remains at 45 degrees.

The iBook editions of the Codexes are being updated. I was curious whether they include some of the 6th Edition errata that got lost in the transition to 7th. Lost or simply removed, that is.

There are only 2 ibook codexes that have updated that had errata/amendment items removed from their FAQ that were still in the digital versions, the Necrons & the Blood Angels (None of the CSM items removed from their FAQ were ever in their digital edition).
Both the BA and Necron updated ibook digital codexes still have all the errata/amendment changes that were removed from their FAQ.
So we still have a case of freshly updated digital codexes having rules that do not match the print codex + FAQ…and we still do not know which way is 'right'.
Even if some customer service rep from GW says that the FAQs are supposed to be the 'right' version, they're still looking at it from the perspective that some of the digital codexes are still chock full of 6th edition rules references, etc. They aren't understanding that the FAQs from 6th to 7th LOST errata/amendments that had already been added to the digital editions. So unless someone in GW is on top of it (which they clearly aren't) these changes in the digital editions are going to sit there and remain forever as contradictions to what you'll find in the print version + FAQ.

Yes, they did. It used to flop around stupidly, giving it a 360 arc for no reason, now it is held up stiff and proud, shooting ahead like other fliers.

Were there any major changes to the Black Legion supplement on the 23rd? I have the ebook edition and it looks unchanged and there is of course no FAQ.
Mainly I'm wondering did they clarify the Last Memory in anyway because I'm not sure how it works in 7th.

Maybe they're supposed to stay as they are from 6th? I don't really use these two items anyways.

So, Heldrake is still the acceptable target? Yeah, CSM Codex surely needed that double-nerf to its only truly competitive unit.

I honestly don't get all the whining about the Heldrake. IMO even after FAQ/Erratas amendments, it's still a great unit to have!

No, not really. Personally, I'm mostly upset because of the decreased Anti-Air potential, so I'm left with the stupid flamer. And the "Take that, hahaha!" approach that seems to be endorsed by many people doesn't help.

I'll try to explain the issue yet again.
If you have the print codex and you look at the current FAQ, there is no errata or FAQ for the Powerfield Generator. Your codex says the generator has a bubble of 3", full stop. Meaning, when the bearer is embarked on a transport, that range extends 3" from the transpirt's hull.
You look in the digital codex, it says that when a model with a PFG is embarked on a transport, the PFG only affects that transport.
Two versions of the codex, two versions of the same rule. Which one is right? Nobody knows.
And this is not the only instance of the issue.

I don't feel it's worth the 170 pts. investment. I'd get an invincible flying mechanical dragon that can't kill gak. Anyway, I'm gonna stop derailing the thread right now.

Go to your Purchased list on the iBookstore and tap on CSM codex- sometimes the book will show as needing an update.
