They'll never sketch a Jotum with Alpha Legion logos on it. Sorry alph.
Hah, they probably would
They treated us "extranjeros" like total VIPs back in Vigo at the Interplanetary.
Ha!
I'd be more than happy with a 'stock' Jotum drawing!
Of course if they wanted to draw the first letter of the Greek alphabet on it somewhere too, well, that would be OK!

Write a letter to them before Gen-con.. explain who you are, and your role on this forum..
I got a hand-drawn sketch from Carlos in my Infinity Rulebook, I'm sure at the very least they would do something like that, or perhaps something more!
You might then possibly get to post something cool on this forum complete with 'raspberry' emote

Just an extra note on good vs. evil:
I find the Shasvastii quite relatable. They do what they deem necessary to assure their species' survival, a very human trait imo. They aren't exactly nice, but no creature aiming a gun at you to protect its fellows will be perceived as nice anyway.
Looking at it that way you can't blame them.

The Good Green: "Ok, That is incredible. Such attention to detail... I'm convinced you would benefit from a straight jacket ;~P Thanks for raising the bar."

Yes I agree with you absolutely. There is no cartoony throwing bags of kittens into rivers and cackling, each faction within Infinity is pursuing its own aims and objectives and therefore cannot be considered 'evil' when viewed through its own moral prism.
In many ways the Combined Army could be deemed to be the most utilitarian in terms of their views on the roles of sapient species in the galaxy - if they absorb the Human Sphere into their dominion it might take the EI that much closer to its goal of achieving transcendence, which could actually be viewed as a benefit to all of the alien species that make up the Combined Army.
Now the Tohaa on the other hand....

Yeah, I love the slug fluff. Plus there is the fact that if they stopped fighting, the EI would have the more then willing monkeys wipe them out to the last one.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor. |

Shasvastii are some of my favorite backstory in the game. "A supernova wiped out our home system. We lost the vast majority of our population as well as all our territory. This group called 'Combined Army' offered us a home if we fight for them. We won't lose our home again."
I also like the Skiavoros. "You spent so much time making the perfect body to house a computerized personality construct. Such a shame all your computerized personalities got erased while the bodies were in stasis. It would be such a shame to waste all those bodies...*assuming direct control*"

Best bit of fluff is in Paradiso where humans drop a Rod from God on a busy Shasvastii installation, wiping it from the face of the planet, triggering a huge suicidal wave of Shasvastii attackers. Then they find out later that it was a breeding colony. My main problem is I can never make a Shasvastii list I'm happy with, or otherwise I'd have started them.

I do vanilla CA with mainly Shasvastii and not many Morats. Never liked the red monkeys from mars, but a lot of that was their (by and large pretty awful) sculpts. Now they're getting redone I might enjoy them more. My lists usually start with what I like to call "the Shasvastii package":
Combined Army | 5 models
________________________________________________________
 Aswuang Shotgun (25|0)
 Noctifer Missile (42|1.5)
 Seed-Soldier Combi (14|0)
 Seed-Soldier Combi (14|0)
 Shrouded Minelayer (25|0.5)

That is a nice set of models that really make the Shasvastii shine. You can add in what you want from that base. I usually go for some kind of TAG or nasty EI construct and a few specialists, then stuff the list with all the cheap remotes I can squeeze in. I'm not that great at this game mind you, but it sure seems like a fun list to me.

I found the post I was looking for where Pierzasty describes what is good and bad about the nations, it was on Data Sphere, not the official boards which is why I couldn't find it earlier: http://data-sphere.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=993#p11805

In regards to the requested graphic novels (which would be awesome) I would probably prefer just a dedicated "fluff book" which just gives much more depth on the stuff mentioned in the main rulebook (faction history mainly) and specifically some indication on how the technology works (how do combirifles work? Is there gravity manipulation? are there energy shields? what do the spaceships of the different factions look like? ect)

I can answer the gravity manipulation question. Nope none.

As far as I can remember, Combi Rifles mostly use caseless conventional ammo, although with a higher burn rate than current ammo.
The 'Combi' part just refers to them being modular so that many different subsystems can be added. So much like modern assault rifles.
