I wasn't serious

If you assault a horde of Ork Boys, you're a bad player and deserve to lose.

Oh come now, sir, there's got to be more than that!
How about getting stuck in combat with a mob of 30 boys or zombie cultists?
They might not be able to kill it, but they'll certainly make sure it can't kill anything else more important.

"Yo, Zahndrekh, can I have some Hit and Run please?" ;D

Exalted.

The smart play for a large ork squad now is to include a mek as a 15pt character to absorb the challenge, leaving the power klaw alive to smack the barge at I1. Keep the klaw a row or two back into the squad both to prevent wound allocation from shooting and to keep him out of base contact for MSS and he's got a much more decent chance of popping the Lord than your math allows for.

Resilient HQs are nice, as always, especially in maelstrom where there are a few ways to rack up points killing the warlord (as well as slay the warlord).

It's also very mobile (at least when I played against it), making it a hassle throughout the fight (especially for Long Range anti-tank sitting in the back field). That makes it fairly worthwhile, in my eyes, even before looking at the stats
