Upon returning to 40k after a long, long time away two units caught my attention instantly:

Vargard Obyron
Cataphractii Terminators

Terrifying Doombull

Hefnaheim

Grey Hunters because I have painted and built som 90 of them in the time I have been playing Sw, that and dear lord I simply adore the kit, so much details and such goodness.

Imperial Scions due to the fresh breath of air they added to my AM armies, that and they look oh so very much like the pinacle of human skill & figthing prowess, barring SM that is

If we're including Forgeworld, I really dig the Tesseract Ark.

My favourite changes depending on the Army, but these are my top 3:

IG - Deathstrike Missile Launcher: I love the look and the fluff. It's basically a tactical nuke. Also I just love the way it changes the entire way the opponent plays and becomes the focus of all their hate.

Necrons - Flayed Ones. Again, look and fluff. Irl, who wouldn't be afraid of a bunch of robots that appear and disappear, who want to flay you living and wear your skin? On the board they're also consistently underestimated and haven't yet failed to make back their points.

Nurgle Daemons - GUO. I just love how stupidly tough it is. I also love the fluff behind them; how jovial they are whilst infecting thousands and bouncing through the slaughter.

A Blood Angel Tactical unit. Basic, but I love them.

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women.

My three favorite units would be these:

1.

For Space Wolves it would be my Lone Wolf in TDA with TH/SS accompanied by two Fenrisian Wolfs, it looks pretty cool on the table and the mental image of a lone warrior charging into the most dangerous part of the battle to redeem himself and avenging his fallen brothers by kicking the posterior of the most dangerous thing he can find is pretty cool
I sincerely hope they don't mess too much with Lone Wolfs in the new book.

2.

For Space Marines (on looks alone so far because I have not fielded them yet) Tyberos the Red Wake plus his Terminator retinue that I am currently painting up, the model for Tyberos is just great and I tried my hand on light effects for the power claws of the Terminators for the first time which was fun, let's see how they perform on the table.

3.

For my Demons it would be the GUO because of the fluff as was already mentioned and also because there are few things better than annoying people by parking a GUO with Iron Arm up on the marker when playing The Relic

Glorious Lord of Chaos

The burning pits of Hades, also known as Sweden in summer

My Chaos Terminators. For a 15 ppm price increase, we agreed to give them +1 WS, BS and W. Add two Chaos Lords (One of which is a custom special character) and MoN and you have a seriously tough unit, albeit one that costs 800+ points.

They usually wreak absolute havoc when I fight Orks.

Scout Sentinels, its hard not to love outflanking lascannons and the models are so cool... Besides the looks I get when a squadron wipes out 300 points of tanks in one turn are priceless.

I'm actually going to change my answer to this:

Farseer (Runes of Warding, Runes of Witnessing, Singing Spear, Mantle of the Laughing God, Jetbike)
9 Windrider Jetbikes (1x Shuriken Cannon)

It's a cheap and effective scoring unit. Plus, if you can get off invisibility, it's unstoppable.

Wraithguard. They were my favorite before they got cool new stuff and now it is even better. My foot sloggers didn't get to take full advantage of the instant death on 6s very often, but it was awesome the few times it happened.

I'm going to go with the Storm Raven. AV 12, 3 HP, Assault flyer, that can hold jump troops + Dreadnought. Plenty of Dakka and has a cool Formation/ Data sheet in the Storm Wing. It always seems to hold its own and get its points back. I also think the Raven is the big winner of 7th Ed. With the nerfing of the Hellturky and FMC's I think its is a step above any other flyers (Not sure about the new Wolf flyers.)

Chaplains! The warrior priests on steroids with a lot of hate to spare, I love the idea, and their intimidating death -themed wargear. I only wish the SM Chaplains were equally good as DA variants.

Baneblade, just because it destroys every thing in it path with a lot of weapons at it's disposal like 1 Baneblade Battle Cannon, 1 Auto Cannon, 1 Demolisher Siege Cannon, 5 Twin Link Heavy Bolters, Heavy Stubbers, Hunter Killer Missile and 4 Lascannons. With a list like that it will ruin infantry just by them looking at it and seeing it's weapons ready to destroy them, which is why I have this as my favourite unit.

And tanks always kills things better than anything else (exception of bigger stuff like Titans and spaceships).

My favorite units are probably the Tau Fire Warriors. They are a good troop unit with strong guns and nice models. Second place is probably the Space Wolf Grey Hunters, Though we will see how much they get nerfed in the new codex.

Gonna have to say C'tan. I'm primarily Ork but all those combinations of powers plus the cost is just plain fun.

The rules remained exactly the same, but they have to pay 2 points for the extra cc weapon now.

So many choices, The Riptide is just epic. For my Tau, they are hands down my favourite unit. So much fun painting and assembling. I also love it when I put two down and see the colour drain from my opponents faces.

As a new Ork player I have yet to play the army, but I love the Big Mek in mega armour with the teleporter blaster. The model looks great and the power sounds awesome.

For Nids my favourite model are the warriors, because... they are warriors?

For my space toasters I would have to go with the night stalker, I know they are great in comp. play but they look awesome.

This is a 40k enthusiast after my own heart. AND you made a men in black reference. You win at the warhams, sir.

But i shave the nipples off of my SG. I think they look a little dumb. And that sentence is horrific taken out of context.
