Your right i should have a bit of lore in here to.
They value tactics and strategy above honor but they does not mean that there is none present. if the task requires a frontal assault so be it. If they can end the war with one shot from a scout sniper. let it be done. if the fighting stops at night they wont.
ETC. also reason for The 10th Legion is because i am a huge Dungeon siege Fan and so i like that part of the games lore but i see thats a bad idea. Also i am amending the Crimson Shades name to the Crimson Shadow
Well, that fluff doesn't really add any inspiration for which to choose. I think Crimson Wolves sounds too much like Space Wolves to be a good name for a Codex chapter. The link to Lexicanum shows the Crimson Legion as a lost Blood Angels successor, so again probably not a great name for a Codex chapter. I wouldn't be dissuaded by the tiny amount of info about Crimson Shades or Crimson Guard from using either one of those. There's a paint scheme for Guard, but no one will care. Frankly, I'd be surprised if you ever encountered someone who knew that there was an existing chapter with a different paint scheme, because I don't think they've ever featured in the fluff.
I think both Crimson Shades and Crimson Guard would be good choices. Given the color scheme, I'm more inclined toward Crimson Shades. I don't actually like Crimson Shadow at all, because Shadow is not an appropriate or inspiring collective noun for Marines.
