The IG list(s) that I'm going for tally to roughly 145 men, a bunch of swap-out bodies and a handful of vehicles (got me 5 LRBT's, 2 Chimeras and a Vendetta, stopping point is a Baneblade if I ever bother), enough for a couple of 1750 pts 6E list variants, and various possible >1500 pts lists (also 6E, 'cause fk 7th), and the Beihnblehd simply so that I can say I have one.

As long as it doesnt turn into an unpainted mess of models like my old collection, then you are doing right really. Nothign worse than model addiction these days, which is all to easy to fall into.

As soon as I saw murderfang and Logan Clause, my space wolves army was done. Now I'm going to build eldar. So I need

I have an old Thunder Dumpster thats just needs a good overhall and a CHS extended convertion kit to get it to work. The rest is my problem, vehicle prices are too high nowadays and the new scout all look like they are trying to poop...

I am painfully slow at painting but really enjoy it at the same time.

On the table, in a MEQ and Necron heavy meta, I do alright, more in objective based than purge though. Not enough shooting, but just enough flying threats.

My aim now is to paint everything I have (which is just shy of 3000 points how I run it) before I buy anything more. But I find myself lusting more and more for a Plague Hulk (I know it’s pants on the table, but DAMMIT Jim it looks so tasty). Luckily I’m skint so I’m forced to paint it all up.

We’re also playing the Victory is Vengeance Campaign from the FW HH series. That’s been really fun, each game is about 45 minutes long a piece and the model count you need is really low. Although that has encouraged some spending with FW. Not cheap. But thanks to the powers of Ebay I have gathered to me all I need. Raven Guard Jump Pack retribution for all

A Reaver and another Warhound.

I only have one, I like to be able to take an army from a large assortment of models as opposed to taking the same 2000pts every time because it is all I have.

I'd like more Drop-pods. I've got plenty of GH/BC's, plenty of terms. Definitely getting me 2 * Stormwolfs and a Stormfang. I've got 4 TWC which is probably enough, though I may get another as Harald.

I dunno, loads!

Really, I want to get it all painted. I've got a few painted up well, and want the rest (which I painted when younger) to be brought up to that standard. Can't believe they changed the colour of the bloody paint...not much of this light stuff left!

I think a lottery win is about right to finish everything quickly, but each army is getting quite close to perfect now.

Ultramarine Chapter
So I'm a few bikes short (about twenty) from finishing the bike company and my 30k company is about half painted (commissioned piece by a friend) and half brought, only really need the primarch and the two legion specific units when they launch. That'll give me the complete chapter for infantry up to bikes. Vehicles I can field most in large numbers (11 drop pods, 11 rhinos, 8 LRs, etc.) but I do not hit the numbers in the codex, that is just too many.

Imperial Guard
I want three Sky Talons and the buggies to go with them, a Bombard and another Medusa, otherwise I'm complete. I've a few Baneblades I've brought that need converting into the other variants, this needs bits buying.

Sisters of Battle
This is complete at present

Grey Knights
Need a few more PA guys to convert into paladins, would ideally like the GK Thunderhawk

Inquisition
Complete with the recent addition of around 30 servitors

Chaos Marines
Really only want another 30 Thousand Suns, will wait till FW release the 30k versions.

Chaos Titans
These are complete until the chaos Warlord is released, although I'm tempted to get another Reaver done to balance out the force

Chaos Knights
These I am collecting as and when the new FW models launch

Chaos Renegades
I want a few more of the Malcador variants, I have two but want the rest. Troops, etc. are done.

One unit of Myrmidon Destructorss and a few of the new transports, at least until they add new stuff...

Need another couple of units of warp spiders, another 20 jet bikes, and the big super heavy flyers

Waiting on Mantic to deliver my Mars Attacks at the end of the month, should be about 5k or so of army ready to go!

Space Wolves
Just finished building the guys from multiple Stormclaw boxes to go with the vehicles I've had for years. I plan on getting some Cassius Rams, thunderwolves (about ten) and a couple of dreads to counts as for these but otherwise I shall stick at 5k for this.

Tau
Need the codex and the medium walkers for this (have the infantry, the small walkers and the big walkers), done as a Squat army using Hasslefree squats, will get round to finishing this at some point.

Orks
Need the three big tanks and the ramshackle tank from FW, otherwise done.

'Nids
Need to convert a couple of the big new walkers from other kits, the harridan and need to clean up a few 'fexes and tyrants with devourers and wings for the latter.

Dark Eldar
I have some female bits put aside that I can use for this, but need vampire heads, weapons, transports etc., lot needed here.

Not bothering yet with Dark Angels or Blood Angels

It might be nice to "finsh" my Orks. Though I say that loosely since you can never really have too many Orks!

Funny, I seemed to have a disconnect on the meaning "to finish your army".

One is what it would take to complete it like what it is missing.

I was looking at it from assembly to painting to complete what I have.
Having more than what you can easily paint in a year is an issue.

Presently assembly line painting 100 imperial guard normal grunts (40 conscipts, 50 normal guard, 10 sgts).
My friend/opponent plays Orks and he will know the full power of a horde army...

Win the lotto max, then get every single warhammer forty k set.

For my chaos armies I need:
-blood throne/skull cannon
-herald of khorne on jugger
-few more csm with bits like icons
-something to use as a bloodthirster other than the horrid GW model...
-soulgrinder or 2

For tau I am one ethereal short of having my full army. Sooooo close......

To finally paint my Iron warriors and finish them would involve the new GK codex and Venerable dread I ordered not making it to my house. I have no self-control when it comes to 40k.

Well, I kinda look at my Crimson Fists army in tiers. So here is what I need for the tiers.

500 pts - Done
750 pts - Done-ish(kinda want to make some adjustments, but I think I have all the models for it)
1000 pts - Need another Rhino and a Razorback
1500 pts - Need 20 Sternguards and Pedro Kantor. Possibly a Librarian
2000 pts - Probably a couple Stormtalon Gunships. Maybe a Centurion Devastator Squad.

Motivation. I just lost all my motivation to keep continuing now. Crappy rules, poor quality books (spelling wise while still asking for a premium price) and a toxic environment just makes me not want to continue anymore.

Pretty bad, I spend more time on forums than on the hobby and painting and converting.

What model wise?

A Manta or Tiger shark a 10

And perhaps a Titan of some sort.

Hobby wise? i need a dang new moisture trap.... its like airbrushing with a water hose................... :(

Now, if I won the lottery big enough, I could retire now, then I would have more time.

Time is our most precious commodity; we can make more of anything else.

I need Anrakyr and The Deceiver.
Perhaps even a Necron Tomb Citadel and Nightshroud Bomber.
Then I will have every unit they can field!
