I've got one squad of everything in my eldar army except Harlequins. Two squads of all the troops. The only things I have left to get are forgeworld units, and then I'm off to start my Ork Army!

I already have all the models I want for my tau army. just need to PAINT the damn thing.

Maybe a few extra crisis suits, MAYBE.
Or piranhas.
But no more. all other bases are covered.

Another 1.5k of Necrons. I'm slowly working towards 3k of them, and I'm about halfway there... Thinking maybe 2 obelisk/transcendent vaults and one of those awesome FW tomb sentinals...

And then to go back to building a apoc-sized chaos force

Needless to say I play a VERY fluffy army, and have no local meta to speak of, nearest FLGS or GW is a good 45 minutes to an hour away.

Looks like another $700 bucks or so and my company is complete, and of course miscellaneous new brushes, hobby blades, paints and decal setter etc. We'll call it $800 and a gak load of time.

All my 40K armies are finished. And over-finished. (bar painting)

I'll be cutting them down to specific themed lists and getting rid of the excess to fund other projects.

My DE do need a little more conversion work on the homebrew grotesques though...

My WM/H armies are in progress, and i'm converting up a Necromunda gang or two from assorted spare parts..

@Bojazz. Thanks for the kind words. Getting everyone a name is a pain but identifying the armor marks is a ton of fun.

As someone previously posted; a lottery win is what I need.

I will continue to dream Until I can field a full chapter's (or even a 100 man company) worth of Black Templars with requisite armoury support. Doesnt even have to be high standard painting, table top is fine.

For me, paint and time - copious quantities of both.

Not with an airbrush.
It saves a huge amount of time with batches like this.

As for seeing the light at the end of my army...
I spent 3 months between jobs, and I painted a total of 0 models. So I can't list Time as a want.

Spreadsheets the only way to go.

I just think it will be funny with notes like:
"Biff was at ground zero of a Basilisk shot and survived! (god bless 1's)"
"Koolman fired his plasma gun for the first time and hurt himself. Remodel to melta..."
"Fifth instance "Rolling Death" Leman Russ went into difficult terrain and got stuck. Add plow before next game, maybe change the tracks..."
"Commandos jumped out of aircraft and deviated... there were no survivors."
"Drop pod storm bolter has claimed it's 12th victim in two games, will add kill markings shortly, note: no machine spirit upgrades to be performed."

To finish my army, the ONLY way is to airbrush and say "3 colors are good enough".
Or the previously mentioned heat-death of the universe.
