Would you be interested in a plastic Sisters of Battle range?
Yes I really want plastic SoB
I might pick some up
I would be interested but don't really want to start collecting anything new
I probably wouldn't want to get any
I hate SoB and hope they never get updated
I don't care / I don't play 40k
I wouldn't buy anything from GW

That's exactly how I ended up with IG, I have always been a one army Marine man and suddenly I can get Leman Russes and Valkyries for my army....

My answer is yes but not at the price that GW will set.

I doubt it could be worse than their current prices.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

I am sure that was GW's cunning plan when they introduced the Allies concept.

Unfortunately the cost of codexes being doubled no doubt worked against it. There is even less reason to buy a codex if you want to use only a few of the units contained as allies in another army.

Yeah the allies itself isn't actually a bad idea (I really like it) - it's just bad when there's no balance and its implemented poorly.

Yeah I've picked up renegade guard (based off WHFB beastmen mainly) for my CSM and SM for my loyalist guard which turned into a larger army than my loyalist guard - damn those cheap SM Strike force (and ultra) bundles!

It would be the only thing that would make me give my money to GW again ever, even if the codex was written in poisonous ink on putrified monkey hide.

Armies: Space Marines, IG, Tyranids, Eldar, Necrons, Orks, Dark Eldar.

Gee , instead of an expensive metal army , I can have an expensive plastic army ?

I'm rather floored that this is a credulous question.

I suppose at some point I will see plastic sisters , and at that point I will concur in the often heard complaint that GW thinks its customers are stupid. At that point I will also agree that GW is correct in that assessment.

What can I say? I remember a time when GW gave customers a choice between expensive metal sculpts, which were modular, or cheaper (less-expensive) plastic sculpts, which, honestly, I think they sculpted bad on purpose (so that people would still buy metal). This was also around the time we got 'white metal' and all the prices went up 25%. Back then (or rather just before then) I did genuinely believe that GW was the price it needed to be. Though I often wondered why they didn't just make their plastic sculpts better and make the whole hobby more affordable. Of course a few years later that is exactly what they did... Except they didn't make the hobby more affordable, they just raised plastic to the same price metal used to be and cut themselves a bigger profit margin: "Gee , instead of an expensive metal army , I can have an expensive plastic army ?"

That was the moment I realized that GW thought their customers were stupid, packed up my stuff and quit playing. Since that was 15 years and about 20 price hikes ago. I would say I have long since relented to the notion that GW must be right. Every year I look at the financial report thinking "this will be it, they've finally pushed people too far" but of course it never happens.

Eventually, I did come back (evidently) to try out the overpriced plastic models, and they're pretty good. All things being equal I prefer plastic as a modeling material. I don't think that justifies the high price, but what can you do? (Aside from quit again, which I did, a few price hikes later).

Sisters is an army I've always been interested in. Unfortunately I already had too much stuff when Codex SoB was released, so I made the conscious decision not to start another army. Now the idea of starting a sisters army seems ridiculous because of the cost. If they released newer plastic kits, I honestly don't know if I would buy one. I certainly would be 'interested' in owning some, but GW being GW they will probably try to charge £35 for five models and I'll just go "No". But if they came in at the same price as tac marines then I would probably buy one or two boxes (even though I begrudge giving money to GW), it's a release I've been really looking forward to.

I'd buy them in a heartbeat. I really like SoB, but I hate metals. Converting is my favourite part of this hobby, but working with metal models is just such a pain. I'd buy a bunch of plastic sisters and convert them into a gloriously Blanchian rag-tag crusade of crazies.

I don't think I'd do much with them (wouldn't collect them) but I feel they really deserve a plastic line and I'd love to play against them.
