Subject: The Rock to play Black Adam in upcoming Captain Marvel (or Shazam!) movie
I wonder if they'll just give him his own movie -- separate from the Supes/Bats/W.Woman ( .. and co. ?) film(s) and maybe leave the option of a whole multiverse/alternate universes idea that they're pushing ( again) in the comics.
Seems a bit odd to have Tv shows like Arrow and the Flash and these films but have them all be independent and unconnected.

Right now I think there are interesting questions centering around the Flash and GL. We know that Cyborg and Aquaman have been cast for the JL-related movies. So why are things so quiet about the Scarlet Speedster and The Man Without Fear (apologies to Daredevil)? Clearly they're more traditional core JL members than Cyborg, and more popular and probably more relevant members than Aquaman.
I *think* that it's been more or less confirmed (by Stephen Amell?) that the Flash and Green Arrow actors won't be making the jump from TV to film. Fine...but then why haven't we heard boo about Barry Allen being re-cast for film, especially since other Leaguers are getting cameos in BvS filming NOW? I think a reasonable guess would be that they don't want to overshadow the Flash TV series launch this fall. Fine.
But that still doesn't answer the GL question. Are they looking at Hal Jordan as toxic after the Ryan Reynolds film (I think that'd be an overreaction personally, but whatevs)? Perhaps Flash and GL simply won't be getting cameos in BvS, based on the idea that audiences won't need to be introduced to them until the JL film, given the existence of TV series and Reynolds film.
Or, could it be that those two aren't going to be in the JL film at all? It'd seem *very strange* if they weren't, but it's still on the table at this point, right?
I don't know that much about the JL, but the ones I always think of associated with the name are Bat, Supes, WW, Flash and Lantern. Surely leaving out those last two would be like leaving Stark or Thor out of the Avengers?

Yup, at least they confirmed that for Arrow, and seeing as that crosses over with The Flash.....
Dunno why really, seems daft.
There were some pics of a guy with greenscreen style "socks" covering the end of his legs
which had people speculating he was going to be The Flash.
Or Metallo.
Seems a bit of a stretch to me.
Although I quite liked the idea that he''ll be Jimmy Olsen with cybernetic legs after losing them in the big fight at the end of MoS.
Had Eisenberg covering his head up, whilst another fan tweeted
Which looks kinda wig like no ?
Course that could all be a joke or a lie.
.. also got Aquaman to fit in as well yeah ?
One thing I have liked is
which is a fairly seminal moment from the comics for Lex.
.. or it was ... no idea if this is still in continuity or whatever
Spoiler:
Back in 1987, John Byrne wrote a story called "Metropolis 900 Mi." which was largely set at a diner called "Ralli's," seen above. Lex Luthor sits down to have himself a meal, but quickly finds his attention drawn towards his waitress, Jenny. The bald villain decides to make the woman an indecent proposal: he will give her a million dollars if she comes to live with him for a month. Jenny is disgusted by this offer, explaining that she has a husband and doesn't need his money. Of course, Lex is an evil psychopath, and doesn't take no for an answer. He proceeds to completely dominate Jenny mentally, explaining how every decision she has made in her life has been wrong. After completely breaking her down, he says that he will give her 10 minutes to make a decision. We never know what Jenny's final decision would be, as Lex decides to drive off before the countdown ends - which, Lex explains to his driver, was the whole point of the exercise.

He might just be some guy who lost his legs in Metropolis...maybe a public, outspoken critic of Supes, given that it sounds like there'll be a lot of that in BvS. But personally I think John Corben is as good of a guess as any. Wouldn't it be easier to just put Mr. Angry Guy in a wheelchair and save on the CGI? If they're going to make the spend for CGI (maybe it's a drop in the bucket, but still) you'd think there'd be a good *reason* for it.
And yeah, the Ralli's thing is a good touch. It could be a simple wink to comic fans (MoS had tons of those), or it could be a moment in the film borrowing from the comic, in which we first really see Lex's depravity, etc.
Regarding Flashes, universes, etc., I definitely don't think the DC movies have to follow the Marvel formula in terms of a tightly unified 'universe.' If they want the TV and movie stuff separate, that's fine. But I do think the silence around the GL and Flash characters in the JL-related franchises is a little odd. Like you said, they got Aquaman cast and in BvS -- and he's also apparently getting a solo film -- but there's nothing to say about Flash and GL? Those are pretty strong properties for DC/WB.

It isn't that hard to do or as expensive as one might think. They did it with Lt. Dan 20 years ago so it isn't exactly new tech. I thought about posting a pic of Lt. Dan and found out that there is a 20th Anniversary showing of Forest Gump at Imax this weekend.
Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.
