My secret fortress at the base of the volcano!

I'm workblocked from all the Youtube-age going on, so if anyone has mentioned these guys before, I apologize... but I'm a fan of the original No-Talent Band, the Dead Milkmen. They aren't around anymore now that their bassist comitted suicide and their lead singer writes a blog, but back in the 80s and early 90s, they were a great band that couldn't sing well, couldn't play instruments well, and could barely write intelligible lyrics.

Here's the video for "Punk Rock Girl". It's not their best offering, but it is their most well-known.

FYI, the guy wandering around the video reading a newspaper is the actual lead singer for the band. The guy singing on this song is their backup vocalist, which is kind of funny considering that the band's most famous song didn't feature their lead singer.

I dont really "follow" the music scene, but wasnt Puscifer Maynard's band prior to founding Tool, and is now completely defunct?

Wow, going old school for this one. I loved Methodist Colouring Book back in junior high.

We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

No, it's relatively new, and he's been very active with Puscifer in the last few years.

I love Puscifer, they're one of my favorite bands right now.

Kashiwa Daisuke is one of my favourite hidden joys. His album, "Re:" was easily and far away the best album of 2013.

Additionally, Antony and the Johnsons are similarly amazing. I'd contend that Antony Hegarty has the finest voice out there.
