So what about the Mark of Wulfen... the Inquisition has no idea about that. Or some crazy things about the Dark Angels, the Inquisition in't the brightest when it comes to secrets.
They could be like strike force aspect that Coldstream said. I thinking that maybe try using like redemption wolves, but have the redemption in like latin or another language. But if you like the vindicators, I'm expecting ome Vindicators in your army list lol
The Inquisition is quite aware of the Mark of the Wulfen. This is why they don't have Successor Chapters to the Space Wolves. The Inquisition understands the risks inherent in the Canis Helix. They also trust the Space Wolves to "clean up after themselves" if any current members fall to it. This is the same with the Blood Angels and the Red Thirst/Black Rage and most other Loyalist Chapters with stability issues like these. Such issues are generally self-policing within the Chapter, and the Inquisition is happy to leave them to it... so long as it doesn't get out of hand, in which case they will purge the Chapter.
The Inquisition is also aware that the Dark Angels are pursuing their own agenda, in many cases. Outside of that, though, they're a pretty dependable sort. Not the best, mind you, as there's a few marks on their record, but nothing that warrants significant censure or concern. That the Chapter keeps secrets and relics and such dating back to the Heresy is not unexpected or unusual. It's a First Founding Chapter, of course they're going to have relics and treasures.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

Wow! That's a great response TiamatRoar, thanks!! Lots of useful info and examples.
Sounds like I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this fluff.
"So its a chapter who's history is unknown to those outside, although those within know it descends from loyal Luna Wolves who fight to clear their original legions name.
They have benefactors within the inquisition dating back to its founding by Loken and others who keep nosey inquisitors off their backs.
Like the Luna Wolves and Son's of Horus they are particularly deadly warriors and have one of the purest gene seeds in the Imperium."

Do you also refer to the US army as the Democrat Army, successor to the aggressive Republican Army?
On topic: I'm pretty sure what was left of the loyal Luna Wolves were swept up by the fledgling Inqusition.

With what TiamatRoar, during the Revolutionary War Civil War and The French/Indian War, it took months to years for both sides to stop fighting, so its quite possible, they are on a planet fighting scramblers are everywhere on the planet and in space to scramble communications.
Also another thing, what will the color scheme of your army be. Because the color will help determine the name. Like will it be exactly the same, or will you add something else to it.

When "Democrat America" becomes common parlance for a decade or two of US history and a specific regime, then I'll get back to you.

I'm probably gonna keep the Luna Wolf colour scheme unless anyone has any better suggestions. I've always liked the Luna Wolf colours
