Hellhounds baked most of the DE army by themselves (No Escape is...quite brutal), meltaguns took 5HP off the Knight and a heavy bolter to the back finished the Knight on turn 5.

Forgeworld is predominantly Imperial units, very little for Xenos.
There's quite a lot of Xenos stuff, and a lot of the Imperial stuff is Horus Heresy related or simply alternate models (e.g. MkIII Iron Armour, Mars Alpha pattern Leman Russ, etc). Eldar, Orks, Necrons, and Tau have some excellent FW stuff (some of the Tau stuff even got snaked from FW and put in the 4E Tau book) and I believe most even have FW-specific army lists. Not all Xenos get lots of stuff, but not all Imperial factions do either.
I didn't say "none for Xenos" I said "very little" and, if you compare what stuff there *is* for Xenos, compared to the Imperials, the bulk of FW's production is Imperium-oriented. 7 Loyalist Titans vs 1 Chaos Titan. Literally scores of units and vehicles for the IG/ AM. I mean, shoot, there's 24 items for the DKOK infantry *alone*, and that doesn't even count their vehicles... or the Elysians...

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

I saw a Dark Eldar player bring one recently. It looked so dumb. Like, really dumb.

How did a S5 Heavy Bolter glance the AV12 Rear of a Knight?

If you are concerned about being able to kill that one knight all by himself, then you should realize that killing one is roughly the same as shooting down 2 necron annihilation barges that jink. With the way most people seem to be FAQing D-weapons (save then roll your D3 wounds) they don't even hit that hard in CC short of the occasional lucky stomp, and with no invul save are pretty easy for MCs to knock down. They are intimidating and have their place, but remember that they are 370+ points apiece.

*flame cannon*, not heavy bolter (it had actually lost its heavy bolter, which is probably what I was thinking of).

Well, there's 2 Chaos titans (warhound and Reaver), and most of the Imperial stuff are Knights which GW has not yet seen to gift Chaos yet. Most of the DKoK infantry are just alternate models (e.g. Grenadiers vs Kasrkin or Scions), likewise many of the DKoK tanks (alternate Leman Russ hulls, etc). Huge numbers of the Imperial kits are just alternate models.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |

The problem is not in quantity, but in quality. Most of these stuffs aren't very good, and playing Chaos means you don't have to go through too many options to pick the right one. But you might have a point here, as I have seen much fewer people bring Lord of Skulls or any Chaos Titans compared to other superheavies.
