No, people just try to insert racism into their opponents argument because they'd rather not have an honest discussion and crying "RACIST!" is a lazy trump card they like to play.

Assume that to be true for a moment. How is arguments about "people with vastly different cultures refusing to integrate" not equally lazy? By its very nature it ignores any pretense of personal, societal, economic, or political issues to simply lump down all perceived problems as irreconcilable cultural differences.

Then we throw in that it's just veiled racism and you have a lazy racist argument You need to read some of the finest Antebellum literature. Those guys. Those guys knew how to be racist and classy

Its got a lot more evidence for it than "UR RACIST!" does.

Inaccurate. Saying 'Immigrants are bad due to cultural differences' is utterly devoid of any kind of formulated reasoned analytical structure or thought. It completely ignores all variations of socio-economic background, politics, geography, culture, and history, and is based on basic xenophobia.

Whilst calling it racist is also inaccurate (because xenophobia and racism are ultimately separate things), racism and xenophobia are heavily linked on several levels (you cannot have the former without the latter), and has far more going for it 'evidence wise' than the alternative statements being proffered.

I wonder what generation Brits they were.

I will never understand why Europe feels like they have an obligation to import so many folks with a vastly different culture then theirs.

That is funny coming from an American. When America was built on Immigrants?

The strange thing is that second generation immigrants are sometimes more fanatic than the people in their own country.

Kind of like people here that have been in country for generations who go out of their way to act like they just got off the boat from where ever.
