After moving house shortly after my previous posts, I just hadn't got back into the hobby as much. I found the half finished Eversor build last week, whilst up in the loft and have got him finished off. The bolter gun hybrid just didn't sit right with the whole "Eldar style Assassin" I was going for, it was to imperial looking. None of the Eldar or Dark Eldar weaponry semed to fit too well. The pistols were too small and flimsy and the rifles were just too long. I decided a "sawn off" blaster rifle would do the trick. I cut out the middle section of the barrel and re-attached the end. I then attached the needle pistol section I had made out of an old hand flamer tank and a harlequin kiss. It was almost there, but his chest seemed a little bare. I went routing around and found an ammo pack on a marine sprue (possibly scouts) and stuck that to the chest.

I bought a big can of black spray, so should hopefully get him base coated soon. I just need to get some gravel stuck to the base around the pile of skulls

I've actually got some painting done! After spending 15yrs in the hobby, I still have zero fully painted models :S

The skinsuit does look a lot darker IRL, it was done by painting vallejo black-grey, then a wash of nuln oil. It's edge highlighted up to Dark Reaper at the moment, but might push that up to Thunderhawk Blue. I still need to highlight the metallics and finish his vials of combat drugs on his back

I have only just noticed that awful mould line down the back of the eldar powerfist/neuro gauntlet. It doesn't look so bad when not blown up on a screen, and it's only for gaming with anyway.

@gummyofallbears - glad you like the work, feel free to take inspiration from it, I guess that's why we all do it It's hard finding parts that will suit, as not a lot of Eldar conversion bits out there. The DE stuff does fit a lot better with the Assassin aesthetic, but as I'm a Craftworld player, I still wanted some CWE parts in the mix

@youwashock - Thanks, really pleased with how he came out. It was you who got me looking at the DE pistols/rifles for his gun, so you can take some credit for how that turned out!

I've got a great idea for the Cullexus, he'll be quite easy, if I could just find a medusae head! I got the Callidus's new arm primed and the skinsuit colours painted, I'm just attempting to do a green crystal blade on it. I suck at painting, so it might not look great, but hey at least I'm trying
