Probably the worst advice I ever read on these forums about how to work out issues at the FLGS.
I want to believe you're just being sarcastic, but I can't find it.

Definately do not go for violence, doesn't solve anything.
If you can, avoid the other player for at least a few weeks. If he starts hassling you on facebook, simply either block him, or ignore him in the chat (You could also turn off chat)
You don't seem like TFG, so I wouldn't worry about that. Try playing with a different group or even start in a different system if you feel that your current player base is getting annoyed at you.

OP, I don't think you are TFG from what you've said and you definitely shouldn't stop playing. It sounds like you can be a bit obnoxious and should probably work on reigning that in (not telling people how to run their armies etc.).
I agree, if a Game can be finished, it should.
In our local meta we had a guy on the other side: If he lost a little too much on Turn 1 or 2, he'd concede, pack away, and walk off.
Not someone fun to play against.
"a raven, chaplain, chapter master and 3 scouts" IMHO is more than enough to keep playing. Once the Raven, chaplain and CM go down, then maybe a continuation is stalling.
As for the "here's your own little dice George", "Facebook saying things like im a "dick" and "simpleton"",
That is only one side of a story we cannot really help with.
It really is down to how the "I kept on playing () just to spite him" goes down at the time.
To me it sounds like both sides need to play with more fun in mind, and less spite.
I would really recommend an army Swap: play his side and he plays yours, just for the "fun" of it. It usually relieves some tension.

If you are TFG you know you are TFG. If you are not TFG then you to just avoid playing him because he is TFG. Pretty simple actually.

It was said somehow half jokingly I think but am not sure. I was a different person a while ago.
It's not only the worst advice but it might be the worst thing said since Stalin and his no man no problem quote. Two guys fightin, imagine that! I crumble at just the thought. And spreading culture with violence, when did that ever happen? I am so, so sorry.

Didn't read the whole thread, but I kinda feel you're the victim here. If people have a problem with your behavior they could tell you face to face rather than being all passive aggressive about it.
As for the dice thing, I can sympathize. In my old group, everyone had their own dice and no one touched someone else's. Naturally, this is how I learned to play. I've since moved elsewhere due to my studies and people just don't care about dice. They'll throw them off tables, at walls and even treat other people's like that. As an ork player who likes knowing just how many dice I have so I can fast-roll my attacks, this infuriates me... I usually tell my opponents and they understand. Maybe try explaining to them that you just don't like using other people's dice?
Oh and the guy complaining about you on Fb afterwards was a douche. That's just plain rude and I'd send him a private message about it to be honest. No need to make drama, just let him know you'd rather he didn't do that next time. Suggest meeting up again, have a drink and talk it out or something. Maybe you guys started off on the wrong foot.

All you have to do is look and see what it is people don't like.
Are you bringing tourney style lists to pick up games? Don't
Are you arguing over every little rule? Don't
Are you commenting too much on other peoples games while they are playing? Don't
That's just a short list. It's very easy for anyone to be liked by their community if you just adhere to certain guidelines.
Unless the game has gotten to the point where it's just a curbstomp. I always give my opponents the option to just call the game if things are irrecoverable. That way they can get another game or two in that night.

I'm in the camp of "if the game has a clear winner by a landslide, go ahead and call it." I don't see the point in chasing down one lone captain.
But
if the person wants to play to the end, it's their right. I think both sides need to agree to call it. One person can't just call it and walk away.
"Should we call it?"
"Nah, I want to play to the end."
"Alright."

If either player had a bad time, one may have had more points, but both players lost.
Its the loser's perogative of when to conceed, if at all. The other player could walk away though.
If that player doesn't enjoy playing you, don't play him. If he enjoys playing you and this is how, then he is not the sort of person you want to play.
Once he expressed his frustration ("jerk, I missed my next game because of you"), he shouldn't be bothering you further about it. Ignore him.
Most people like to show that the other guy is bad, therefore there is nothing wrong with themselves. Doesn't make sense, but is a common belief. Its good that you didn't fall into that trap.
Sounds like some people have a problem with you. Not sure how, but try to find out what the other players think. And adjust. Clearly, if you continued only because he didn't want to, that's. Jerk move. Hard not to be a jerk sometimes when someone is being an ass, but that doesn't excuse it.
I'm sure you can do better.
(OT - I once conceded bottom of 4 when I had 1 FD running, 1 Reaper still shooting, and an unhurt Serpent, where my opponent had an unhurt DP, a 20-man CSM unit and 20-man Possessed, all crowding the one objective, and he had FB, and StW, I had none and no way to get one, and some people (not the opponent) didn't like that I conceeded. Playing out a loss should be the default, not concession.)
