Very little done and the prospects of getting much done this week is looking slim - between house guests, work, etc. Though I will get a wee bit of brush stabbing done today.

More stuff from the postie. Rather than go out at the weekend to watch the rugby in the pub, I bought the 4Ground buildings (when you add the Pizza, taxi etc, I probably saved money).

I also got some little bits and pieces, and finished another piece of terrain. I'm a fan of the red barrels and the little reeds look good on my swamp. I have added another layer of water effects. If I get time tomorrow, I'll add some static grass and stuff to the banks to finish it off. Then I plan to make some rivers.

Also received my Oathsworn Sci-Fi Wargames Robots. Look great, well cast as always. I got 3 of the Warbots below and a few drones etc plus resin pieces representing the wrecks.

So with my morning coffee nearly finished... I'll stop typing crap and do stuff!

You may have built more terrain since you started this blog that I have built in my life. Great stuff (especially the oasis thing) and keep up the pace!

Cheers, Gentlemen!

More stuff being worked on. These 4Ground buildings are really good - quite a bit of work to them, but worth it.

Another piece of terrain finished. Glue still wet, as always

That mdf terrain (at least I assume its MDF) is pretty cool. Do they have ruined buildings? That would be great for Mordheim.

Check out my Deadzone/40k/necromunda blog here!

Yeah, the buildings are all MDF. They have ruins for the fantasy stuff and the WW2 stuff.

Not done much this last week. Not sure there will be much done this weekend but will try and get some odds and ends done.

A few more things from my drunken eBay rampage...Trees and some MDF crates and a pallet.

Awesome stuff in this plog. Especially like the German sentry. Always cool to see improvement in your painting, especially in such a short period of time!

I think this is the rest of my drunk eBaying...

Just waiting on the glue to dry, and then I'll put the wire round and get a bit of weathering done. I'm going for the abandoned defences, nature fighting back look...

More forest hot glued

Finished. I like it. Only problem is I am running out of scenery bases.

Two more bits for the Forest of Doom. Perhaps a little small for 28mm figures but I am ok with it.

Love what you have done so far mate. Especially the german officer. (He is an officer right?)

Would love to see more of your Bolt action stuff, I almost got into bolt action but went the 15mm route instead.

He is a German Feldgendarm, which is basically a military policeman. I've honestly just gotten into Bolt Action in the last few months so am putting together a few forces. I'm enjoying the research and learning loads of stuff I didnt know. As I paint more, I'll definitely post them here.

Anyway, to keep updating what I have been doing (apart from drinking and watching rugby...)

Another set of trees based up

Working on some German vechicles.

Based up my Feldgendarm, just needs another coat of matt varnish now.

Started to paint a Dwarf Driller for KoW

Dreadball and Germans, cleaned and undercoated.

Dragons teeth, I hope to finish today.

More trees done up

My German Army so far... The French saw these two guys and surrendered already... (sarcasm alert).

A couple of things that came in the post

My "To be Undercoated" box. Added a few things to it.

Starting work on these. Coal bunker type things.

And another piece of scenery done. The Forest of Doom is still growing

Well, my addiction is still strong... Bit of shopping on Saturday and a delivery from the postie. Footsore Irish in the plastic bags. Have had a bad cold so not felt like modelling in between drinking Lemsip.

Thanks Carlo, might be a while before I get round to playing but a glance at the rules I think it looks a good game. I sort of want to do some 1066 stuff. Normans, Vikings and Saxons as I like the period and the history is very interesting.

Anyway, finished these. Well I should weather the bricks but they'll do for now. I really need to get my figure painting mojo back.

Still loaded with the cold. I feel icky. Trying to get a few bits and pieces done this morning in-between Lemsip and periods of sweating like a pig on a poke... Hopefully I am going to sit and build a Sherman and a Puma as well today.

Needed some Dark Earth as I stupidly left a half full tub open (though it is still okish!) and needed Javelin for my Footsore Irish so... picked up a few things. Got another version of Field Grey to add slight variation to my Germans.

Another Bunker for Bolt Action and Sci-fi Gaming. These are great for the price. I'll get more I think.

And a look at my wargaming table! I need to start getting storage sorted for this stuff.

Another set of Dragons teeth. Glue still wet as usual!

Earlobe deep in doo doo

Kept on getting Monty Python stuck in my head "We demand a shrubbery"

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Still feel like death... Sweating buckets, but in between mopping my brow I started on my Perry Rats and Warlord Puma... Both fiddly...
