Funny you should mention that because I was thinking about sigismund earlier. As far as I know that would make the imperial fists unique in this series having 3 individual characters to their legion. I don't count Luna Wolves cause Loken and Abbadon were sculpted as a scene. Don't get me wrong though I wouldnt mind. They deserve their own models. If I had to guess though I would say we will see him when we get to Terra.

It would be nice and unique of them to have three characters but I really don't see how they could not have Sigismund. Polux is not well known, and I have not read all the HH books so he may show up in them later and plays a huge part that I don't know about, I only know him because I like all the Fists of Dorn and he is the first Chapter Master of the Crimson Fists. Sigismund is huge, he is Dorn's 1st Captain (and pretty much his right hand man) and is seen in the books very early on when he's talking to Loken. He was never defeated on the hundreds of battle fields and even the dueling floors of every legion. Its said that beneath the Primarchs he may have been the most skilled warrior in combat. (Sorry I'm a huge Black Templar fan too!)

He's simply too big of a role to not make a model of him, and I would be disappointed with Forge World if they didn't. (not like it would matter much .)

Pollux is a fairly big character, he was a massive part of the battle of Phall, outwitting Perturabo and allowing the IF to escape. But I agree that Sigi is too big a character not to make.

As far as the Lion's facial appearance, I've always pictured him as looking like Sean Bean. I dunno, Sean Bean just always has seemed to have an English kingly appearance.

Sigismund never defeated? Corswain and Sevetar would like to interject on that statement, yeah sevetar cheated, but he still won, and Corswain was a draw, but Sigismund didn't win either, so "Never defeated" is actually "Won almost every fight"

When did Sevetar beat Sigsimund? I thought Sevetar gave up in the duel they had because he got bored. Is there a rematch I missed?

Sevatar gave up fighting and cheated to end it. So he won, if you count winning by cheating. But it could've gone on for however long so who knows who would've won.

With all the Imperial Fists stuff, I'm betting Dorn is next. Then probably Alpharius. They seem to release the characters alongside their Primarchs (whether shortly before or shortly after). With Alexis Pollux and now Armillus Dynat, I'd put money on either of their Primarchs coming next, followed by the other's.

Thats the first time I have ever heard of Armillus Dynat (ironic really)
Got me thinking who will be each Primarchs second in command model

Some we already know obviously

I Lion El'Jonson- Corswain

III Fulgrim- Fabius and/or Lucius

IV Perturabo - Forrix

V Jaghatai Khan- Qin Xa

VI Leman Russ- Bjorn

VII Rogal Dorn- Sigismund and Pollux

VIII Konrad Curze- Sevetar

IX Sanguinius- Raldoron

X Ferrus Manus- Amadeus DuCaine

XII Angron- Karn

XIII Roboute Guilliman- Marius Gage

XIV Mortarion- Calas Typhon

XV Magnus the Red- Ahriman

XVI Horus Lupercal- Abbaddon

XVII Lorgar Aurelian- Kor Phaeron and Erebus

XVIII Vulkan- Artellus Numeon

XIX Corvus Corax- Nykona Sharrowkyn

XX Alpharius Omegon- Armillus Dynat (though I still think there is a possibility Omegon may get his own entry as unidentified astartes or something).

1) The Lion will use a sword. Specifically, "The Lion Sword." It being shattered during his fight with Luther was kind of a big deal. Rumors are the sword Cypher is carrying is actually pieces of this blade and he's seeking to reforge it on Terra.

2) No official artwork? I beg to differ.

It sort of implies he's batting for the other side though (Chaos I mean, not that other thing.)

It's a "what if" thing that maybe, just maybe it wasn't Lucifer that fell.

The Lion certainly has a very dark side to his nature, but I think they've pretty much gone with the conventional background in the HH novels, at least this far.

Good to see Polux plays a big part. I need to read the books so I can enjoy and know the acts better.

To the Imperium and a humble soldier cheating to win is pretty much loosing, so I imagine in the eyes of Sigismund that he won because he did not have to resort to cheating. (all of that is thrown out in real fights, the one who lives wins .) As for Corswains draw, they both did not lose so technically they weren't defeated either. So as it stands one cheat and one draw, Sigismund remained undefeated.

As I said, it's for the Horus Heresy CCG.

The head is an old-school knightly helmet with wings. The wings on it are a bit odd, but that's just personal opinion.

Either way, there's a few things out there that while not official, have a lot of notoriety. In particular, a fellow a named Nicolas Giacondino has a bunch of primarchs up on his DeviantArt page that've made their way around the web. Here's his rendition of the Lion.

One I've seen several times is this one of the Destruction of Caliban.

This one I actually think is official too. I think it's from a book. I swear it's on one of the books. Just wish I knew who drew it so I could track down it's origins.

Basically every iteration of him, he's reeeeally different looking. How FW decides to do it up, is anybody's guess at this point. All I know is it's likely a pre-order purchase for me. NOT A FANBOY.

I guess by official I meant that GW and FW have not yet released an image of him in their personal works. I mean most Primarchs have been drawn more than once on the covers or inside of HH novels and rule books. The Lion is not one of them and also that picture is supposed to represent pre-crusade Lion so the emporer hasn't found him yet.

He will be a preorder for me as well.

I think you mean Luther my friend.

And in "master of sanctity" and the book before it "ravenwing" it's basically laid out that Astelan is a misguided and jaded fallen. While not actually a worshiper of chaos he (who is the original source of the " the lion was a traitor" theory) had it wrong and Acts like a spoiled baby. It's also why Luther waits and hopes to be forgiven by the Lion himself for his own sins against him. The Lion was many things but false to the Emporer was not one of them.

As much as I want it, Corax is never going to be released because nobody likes the Ravenguard. Forgeworld will go out of business before a Corax Model comes out.

I would like to see Alpharius/Omegon. It would be awesome to see Alpharius in Battle armor and Omegon in his Ifrit Stealth Squad Armor. or vice-a-versa. Or maybe just a bunch of guys in the same Alpha legion armor with speech bubbles that all say "I am Alpharius.

From m_r_parker on B&C
They did address Guilman coming before the Book 3 Primarchs - essentially it was a combo of 1) the first three books having 12 Primarchs, and not having the scope to sculpt them all at once with all the other units they have to do, and 2) they need a figurehead for the Calth book as a release, which is either Lorgar or Guillman (and Lorgar already has a model)

Guilliman is not next, he is being sculpted and needs finishing, there are 2 primarchs that are done and one of which is awaiting approval, the 2nd is ready for production, so unless simon finishes guilliman quickly, we wont see him next.

Chaz, I actually really like that picture too. Forget the blonde, though. Armor-wise, that's what I imagine him in. He would have been in black to match his legion. It wasn't til the destruction of Caliban that the colors changed to dark forest green.
