Movie based off real life is going to miss quite a bit of issues that occurred during the period. We all know this and its funny that it seems to be new to some individuals

Some are, I personally disliked it because it was boring, and the laughable baby scene where he is pretending that a doll is a real baby.

To be fair, I don't think most Hollywood 'leftists' would be fit to shine anyone's boots, simply because they don't know how to do it right.

Kyle may have been good, and the Royal Marine may have had a pretty number as well, but nobody has come even close to equaling Simo's record of 505 kills.

Obviously. Although it was more of a play on words than a pun, but still.

I looked him up because of that fethed up face. Holy. Gak. Shot in the jaw and survived. Skills that are basically action hero status. He also used only iron sights

He's the deadliest soldier in history, and killed over 700 people when you add in his SMG kills to his confirmed sniper rifle kills. Also I've heard that the weapon used to shoot him in the jaw was supposedly an anti-tank rifle, .75 caliber. Man died at 92. Hell Simo is more impressive then some action heroes.

No. The deadliest soldier in history is the Bombardier on the Enola Gay.

Also incredibly Finish:

he made a full recovery and became a successful moose hunter and dog breeder after World War II, and hunted with Finnish President Urho Kekkonen....

When asked in 1998 how he had become such a good shooter, Häyhä answered "Practice." When asked if he regretted killing so many people, he said, "I only did my duty, and what I was told to do, as well as I could.".

Ah ok. Else he'd be a Nazi, and in the words of the immortal bard:

"Nazis, I really hate those guys."
-FDR, leading the assault on DDay wielding twin Tommy guns from his specially made M4 Sherman wheelchair.
There's no proof to the rumor that he ate Rommel's liver that day with some fava beans and a nice chianti and that the Germans covered it up.

To be fair at the time Finland had a choice between Hitler and Stalin. They were screwed with the choice of ally with the Axis and be seen as Nazis or ally with the Allies and be at the mercy of Russia.

No they could have stayed out of it.
Maybe not selling nickel to the Nazis would have helped too.
