No, unisex means neither male nor female. They are generally depicted as male. Looking at an ork, what would make a person think that that is female before male?

Also, I use the term suicide charge as a summary of orky tactics: charge at the enemy screamING WAAAAGH and swinging an axe or firing a shoota or whatever they might be using, and keep charging until you die or they get overran and die. Granted, an ork may have a different tactic, but that is the most common strategy an ork utilizes.

Hot ork chichs spreading spores. Yikes.

I voted Doomrider. If for nothing else so I can say "Dooomrida!" like the Hogriders in Clash of Clans. Don't judge me.

Since you have missed the many female suicide bombers in the real world, I am going to point at the fact the only suicide squad seeking death on its own accord (death company does not count because they are literally insane, and also because what kind of suicide squad uses power armor?) is the Sister Repentia. And with only T3 and a 6++ to save them, on foot, with a melee weapon that hit last, you can hardly do more suicide than this.

I can answer that easy. People will look for boobs, see none, and conclude male. But orks are not supposed to be mammals, so that is a flawed assumption. Maybe some people would also think male because of muscle mass, but then again, on some species, the female are bigger and more muscular.

Yeah, they're humanoid, so that is what people would expect. They're main unit is also "boyz" for crying out loud, which points to more of a male gender. Also, suicide bombing wasn't the kind of warfare I was think of, more of the lines of "that base there has countless guns with no hopes of running out of ammo. CHAAAAARRRGGGEE!" Running at people who don't expect it and detonating yourself and them in the process isn't a fighting technique, it's cowardice.

Also, in regards to the Sob and other feminine military units you mentioned, male armies are much more common 40k and irl. Yes, guardsmen also do incorporate women into their armies. I am just saying that in this day and age, men are given the regards as more daring and wreckless.


Overall, for a decent shred of time orks have been more of a masculine based unisex race. I'm not trying to make women seem lesser or guys come off as reckless piles of stupidity. Sexism is terrible and I do not support it. It has been awhile since orks have had females among them, and they now are retconned.

If 50% of guardsmen are actually guardswomen, then half of the 40k human military is female. Space marines count for nothing, despite their 10 or 20 codex.

Using the term boyz isn't sexist, and using girlz instead would come off as GW trying to force anti sexism onto itself. Good luck telling an ork what they're saying is wrong and sexist. Technically, he is also wrong when describing and ork, but authors will use ork the most out of it/she/he and it coming in as second. I haven't once seen a BL author call an ork 'she' and don't think I will.

I will not be talking to an actual ork, you know. More likely an ork player. And I am not afraid of most ork players, I am quite sure I can handle them. Doomrider still exists? Well he's the fastest character I've ever used in this game, in the old 3rd edition codex. He came and he went away immediately.

Well, doomrider hasn't been around in the latest editons so either Wazdakka already beat him into non existence or he's too fast for the writers to get a chance to see him.

To be technically correct, that is an Orc, not an Ork. Orcs in WHFB do have sexes.


Also, Doomrider can never beat Wazdakka because Wazdakka is more red.
