Hi, I've checked through all the voting threads and I've got you down as only having completed 1 challenge despite participating. I clarified this with Para on the Fast and Furious month. It's point for completed mini, not initial entry - hence why I only have 3 points, not the 4 for each month I've entered (I feel your pain).

Hey everyone. I've not been on Dakka for a long while due to RL being slightly overwhelming. It's for the same reason that this League Table has not been updated regularly. Apologies for that, I hope it has not caused too much irritation.

I have updated the list of previous competition winners and the links to the original competitions along with an updated spreadsheet picture. It's huge! You may be better downloading it and looking online.

It's big due to the number of people who have entered over the months, but it can be difficult to view because of this. The only way to cut it out is to remove people, which I don't want to do. However I'll let you all decide whether you want me to do this (ie those who haven't entered for 3 months or something).

Couple of fun facts:

Big question is, how many more challenges does Januine have to win before his lead become unassailable? By my count, there's 3 challenges left on this rotation after this month, so unless SJM wins every month and Januine doesn't place (yeah, right!) he's pretty much 'won'!

As long as we are having fun and getting to be better painters, we are all winners. Or something like that. I know with the talent at the top of the list I try to keep reasonable goals, rather then victory. “Finish my piece” and “Not last place” being achievable. Doing pretty good with those.

5th, 5th! how the hell did I get up there, there's absolutely no way I should be above the top 20 looking at the names on there.

two thirds in a row have definitely helped me on the points, strangely those last 2 months is when I got a decent camera and learned a bit more about taking photos also when I started doing star wars Orks so a combo so those are probably to to blame. maybe I'm getting better at painting as well... who knows

shame I missed the first 2 months, but I'm certainly looking forward to the last few, think this is the longest I have gone with miniatures without take a break, so thanks to everyone who's helping to run and entering the challenges, its certainly keeping me entertained

Thanks guys. It was my responsibility having taken it on, glad to do it and really didn't take that long in the grand scheme. I'll keep a close eye on results and keep the table up to date.

RL is making completing anything in a month impossible so I am really uncertain if I'll be able to enter for a while. I will always be wanting to though.

Big round of applause for those top 10, but a special shout out to Paradigm and Nevelon for being the only two partcipants who completed all twelve challenges!

Next year's table will not be as complicated because this was a massive amount of work. When I thought there would be a total of 50, I figured it would be a little bit of a challenge, but with 127 (woohoo by the way) this has used up a lot of my painting time. I will be organising the table based upon the percentage of the total votes received by each participant for the whole year. This will be fair because it accounts for the number of votes in relation to the total. The data will be kept unaltered so that if there are concerns about the way it is working a new system can be considered.

Enough of that!

Im surprised I did as well as I did with only a few challenges entered, it took me too long to commit to trying it out.

I never really correct anyone on it because its not a big deal, but since youre starting a new table: the first letter of my name is an i, not an L.

Haha, I never realised that! Consider it noted for future reference! I always assumed it was a lower case L, not an upper case I!

Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad it is done now and everyone knows where they sit. Wish I'd managed to stay in the top 10, but then I didn't manage to enter as many challenges as I would have liked. I'll take a leaf out of Nevelon and Paradigm's books for next year.

You did rank highly when you did enter though, so I'm not overly surprised

I'm very big on making sure names are spelled correctly, after all, they are a defining part of our identity! Please consider me corrected.

@Midget and all those guys unsure about entering this coming year - it's partly because you won once and got two third places, but being consistently good with no results less than 12th and entering 10 times got you 2nd place. With votes adding weight to your standing over the next year you may find you do even better.

As a point of interest for those unsure about entering. I am fully behind the ranking structure used in 205/16 in theory. It has levels of fairness built in that Para should be commended for, but it is far to complex for 120odd entrants. Here's the top 7 for this year's votes (Not percentages because I am doing his waiting for a bus on my iPhone)
