Death Korps if your list has hundreds of infantry models. I believe these are the most expensive basic models in terms of £ per point. However, a Death Korps army with a variety of regular IG models will probably still be cheaper than a typical SoB army. Every single SoB model is expensive in terms of £ per point

Try a Vraksian Renegades army... per unit of 10 renegades (i.e. Guard equivalents), it costs £50-60 (on average, it depends which options you want to give them). And in 1850 points, you can take well over 150 models and still have room for a load of upgrades and a Baneblade.
