Because the Other Gods arn't has popular maybe?

or by the simple fact that Khorne is the God for War machines, i mean its not like he have Thousands of Blood-Forges spewing out weapons, armors and other machines of destruction 24/7 to equipe his Legions...

Khorne has always been the one with the most Deamon Engines at his service, look at Epic...

He always had a minimum of 8-10 War Machines, the other gods only 2-3, heck Slaanesh only have the Subjugator and the other Walker thingy, while Nurgle has the Plague Tower and only recently the plaguereaper and Tzeentch only had the Firebird thing and the Magic Towers.

So yeah, Khorne will always be the one with the most Machines, now yes, once in a while something different would not be bad.

Also its only a matter of tastes, you find Skulls, chains and Axes boring, while i dislike Tentacles, Pink and Whips, each have his own.

For 40k chaos players i imagine that they are the answer to many, many sacrifices.
For 40k in general they were kinda needed really, just to have chaos properly meeting the imperial forces - they're not really needed in 30k until the later stages which may be why it took so long?

Besides that FW has plenty of EC stuff, maybe because there's less demand for Slaanesh stuff? Like how you have the people saying that Sisters would be popular if more money was put into them, the appearance really isn't there.

There isn't that much Slaanesh stuff... I actually hold out hope for some slaaneshi super heavy walkers; the Kytan's legs sure resemble the epic Slaanesh walkers.

GW and FW have a certain laziness when it comes to Chaos. The two SHW we now have are just conversion kits and relative to full kits didn't require all that much effort. Unfortunately when it comes to large models I don't think we're gonna see much that isn't a conversion kit. I hope we do but it doesn't seem likely. The ones that existed before Horus Heresy just didn't sell that well. When you look at what FW has accomplished with smaller and medium models for Word Bearers it shows they certainly have the talent and skills to do chaos well.

Maybe a LoW for another god perhaps. Did you consider that the previous SH choice for Chaos was also a spikey skull encrusted Khorne model or were the veins under your fedora popping out too far to think rationally?

Its a conversion kit... its not entirely new. Maybe its laziness in coming up with ideas, maybe its just the guy at FW who champions chaos likes Khorne, maybe its because its such a common conversion FW wants to accommodate the market... Its undeniable that a fully new kit would take more resources which likely means the alternative is FW not releasing a hypothetical alternative until later anyways.

Considering this model is half made up of parts from the Lord of Skulls, of course it is for Khorne. Doesn't preclude other options going forward, but as a starting point it was the easiest point to get to.

The greater brass scorpion is not a conversion kit at all. It is a completely unique resin kit. I would like to see more options for other chaos engines, though. I love khorne, always have, but I like to put the other factions on the table regularly too. I would be thrilled to see a forge world version of the nurgle plague towers from epic days. Both of the Slaaneshi knights would be excellent to see as well. That puss ridden version of the baneblade was kind of a cool concept for nurgle that came from forgeworld as well.

It is the whole chicken/egg thing that tzeentch and slaanesh (and sisters ) get less love because people don't play them as much, but a big part of that is because they get less love. If you invest nothing into them you can't be surprised when your customers don't invest anything into them either.

It looks a bit strange to me. Its body is really bulbous, but the legs are slender.
