I couldn't rebase my minis even if I wanted. The glue I use doesn't really glue, rather it melts the plastic together. So my minis are attached to their bases almost as if it was a single piece. It'd be hard to seperate them without damage.
But even if it was possible I wouldn't do it. It is perfectly fine to play AoS with square bases, but you can't play 8th with round bases. And I like 8th too.

I used the sarissa round movement trays for my daemons so I could use them in both 40k and fantasy.

For AoS I'm rebasing my dwarves and orcs. My ogres will stay on squares though. To many integrated bases (Titan forge pirate ogres).

I like that. While I have no intention of rebasing anything, this is a way that's fun and involves some creativity.
