Psycanon has much better chance to HURT the riptide, but its incapeable of ever killing.
And highly unlikely to shave more than one wound.

I put some numbers against multiple targets earlier in this thread, read them. the psilencer is actually decent at MC hurt, its just that the riptide is a damn tough nut to crack.

Numbers:
Slightly over 18% to kill riptide/dreadknight.
T6Sv3 or T5Sv2 have a 36% to die.
T5Sv3 have a 60% chance to die.
All assuming force got off naturally, without force that's the chance of landing at least one wound.

Nothing costing remotely in this zone grants you an 18% to one-shot a riptide.

A dreadknight with nothing but power fists is a mere 130 points. Pretty efficient for Grey Knights. If it weren't for the fact that you waste two shooting phases when deep striking you'd have the best possible configuration right there.

A NDK without a Personal Teleportor is moving 6" per turn, not 12", and power fists aren't Force weapons. Best load out is a PT, H Psycannon, H Incinerator, and Great Sword. The next best load out is PT, H Psycannon, H Psilencer, and Hammer (hence my comment earlier that it's good on your second NDK).
