What's up bro. Welcome to the hobby. Eldar are awesome. Congratulations. I think the most important thing to keep in mind is just to do what you want. If someone tells you to drop your whole list because they think they made one up that can't be beat, and you should take that list instead, that person was bullied on the playground when they were younger and haven't really gotten over it.

The important thing to remember about playing the game is that it's just about having fun. You don't have to win to enjoy the thought of Illic blasting your oponent's warlord's head off.

I do actually really like your list. Give it another 200 points to get it to 800. Maybe an upgrade or two or another unit to deal with some AV. it's not a common thing but I find that the 800 point level is an excellent place to get some good games in with above bare bones level flavor.

Illic is my favorite HQ just because i like the way he looks and i like his stats, although i dont know if i will be using him in higher point games just because other HQ's could possibly be better (Eldrad Ulthran).

Since my main opponent is going to be playing necrons, i try to restrict myself from using any tanks other than Wave Serpents and Fire Prism (mainly because necrons can take out vehicles very easily)
