Hehe, I have four of the metal Coryphee sitting ony work bench waiting to be assembled at home. They were a bear to find. Got them online at great prices about four months ago. Along with a metal Colette, Doves, Angelica, Cassandra, performers, mannequins, and avatar Colettes. Can't wait until it is their turn.

I honestly don't like a lot of the new plastics, too many fiddly breakable bits that I don't think my ham fists would be able to keep in one piece for too long.

Personally, I haven't seen many sculpts that haven't been improved by the move to plastic, though I can see the unique style the metals had that some would prefer.

For Gremlines, I much prefer the no nose look than the huge lips look. No nose looks kind of creepy while still being goofy, huge lips just looks like they went to a bad plastic surgeon.

For Neverborn, many of the sculpts flat out got better, especially in the Nephilim line, and the models that were good were essentially left as is like Stitched Together and the Doppleganger.

They are some of the better metal minis I think. Some of the proportions seem... odd to me, and the fiddly bits on the sprue are really hard at times to remove, but over all I like the plastic minis better then most of the metal ones.

ESP Colette herself.. that old one has very little appeal to me, same with Cassandra, when I look at the two side by side its not even close.

Hah, don't get me wrong, I do like a lot of the new plastics aesthetically. But, I am a sucker for hand sculpted models instead of CAD designed minis... And I find that metal hold up better to prolonged use. How thin a lot of things became when redone in plastic (ankles, blades, wrists and some legs), look great in a display case, but I hate having to repair something afterit is painted.
