Did you play your list before 7th and D force came out ?
If yes, did you notice a real change ?
Anyway, that's sweet to see tournament battle report with orks AND walkers !
Pretty funs names, moreover^^

The ork codex is kinda of a 6.5 edition, so you couldn't really play this particular list prior to 7th. I played a kan wall in 5th, and I'd argue this list is significantly more punchy. You just have to get over the fact that you are going to lose 75% of the dreads in most games...and that is ok.

I also play a variant of this list with a stompa, and minus the bikers and the meka dread. (and also not in the formation). It's much slower, and the stompa does all the work, or explodes.

I have faced eldar 4-5 times. Almost beat them once (GT lists). Tabled twice.

In the GT I was 1 point away from beating a double centurion ultramarine drop pod list, and held my own vs a triple canoptek harvest.

So though it is not a top table list, it definitely smashes up the mid and lower tables decent enough. I wouldn't; recommend it for the faint of heart though...its why i have the tea lights. Makes me feel better

Thanks Reece. I look forward to the day when you can happily work walkers back into your lists

Thoroughly enjoyable batreps and commentary. Brilliant.
So were your games mainly just drinking and throwing dice around - sounds perfect!

These are the most fun bat reps I've ever read! Awesome army and looks like you and your opponents had an absolute blast with it

Thanks Guys! Ya these games involved quite a bit of drinking and a blast of fun. The fact they ended up being insanely close (except for the first one) was just icing on the cake!

Dan has challenged me to a rematch in a mini apoc style game, so will have to get the stompa painted up for some AM rematch!

This style of bat rep seems quite popular, so I'll try to keep the humor and laid backness in future reports! Appreciate all the feedback and comments! Been a great motivator!

I was just checking out your list - is 2K more of the standard now, or do you normally find yourself playing 1850? And for 1850, what do you drop to make your list fit?

In the narrative, friendly, and trios events, they had more time, so the list limits were 2k.

In the 1850 GT lists, I generally drop the meka dread and add a bike and some grot riggers. (meka dread is nearly 200 points)

You took forgeworld mega and meka dreads as part of zardsnarks group. But according to his rules he cant take dreads as part of his because they are too slow for him. How did you get around that? Is it because it specifically mentions kans and dreads only, and not mega and meka, even thought it probably should?

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!

I got around that by having Zhard not be the warlord. Thus the bikes were not troops. The big mek from the dreadmob was the warlord, and I was forced to roll on the ork chart, and hope for a 1 every time. Not the best situation!
