Putting in context, Felix and Gotrek lasted around 30 yrs before they finally ended it. That was whfbs best selling novel line. Made peanuts compared to the first three heresy novels. Don't read them to get to the end. I only read them now if I like the sound of that particular story.

PLEASE tell me your talking out your ass! Otherwise I give up on this series and will go back to WEB Griffin. He's almost dead and releases faster. Sorry bud, I'm really not. The only thing that will accelerate the schedule is if (or more like when) interest falls to the point that it forces their hand. The last fw event I worked (when Horus was released) their writing team let slip that they estimate publishing about 70 of the black hardback books. They never actually want it to come to an end. Talk about milking it for every last drop. It's already reaching a point where quality is dropping. I started reading the series late, got as far as Fulgrim and noticed the flood of limited novellas getting crap reviews and amount of effort that'd be needed to keep up with the story and thought "Sod this". As for the Forgeworld books, if that's the case, I'll be even sadder. I foresaw the FW book series last 15, maybe 20 books in total. But 70? Good grief, they'll be stretching things thin by the time they reach Terra, if ever and they'd have lost me quite early along the way.

If they cover the Great Crusade and made army lists for Xenos threats the fledgling Imperium came across I could dig it. But just about the Heresy? Yeah, guys it wasn't that long of a war. Are they going to make models, rules and special contemptor dreadnoughts for the Ultramarines that fetch Guilliman's underpants?

Appreciate the info but I genuinely can't see them attempting to drag the main novel line out for another 20 years.
Nick Kyme said in the afterword to Deathwatch that we were heading into the end game now, there really isn't a lot more for them to do. We know there's going to be:
The Crimson King - presumably showing Magnus committing to Horus, beginning of the flesh change etc.
Death Guard book - depicting their fall
Another Salamanders book - Nick Kyme's confirmed he's doing one more to round off their internal trilogy
Another Dark Angels book - think Gav Thorpe's doing this? Rounds off their internal trilogy
That'd put them on 36 numbered novels - I think they'll take the main novel line to 50 books. Even if they only do two a year up to that point you're looking at nine more years.
Post Terra though and defeat of Horus they may well be plotting to do Age of Scouring up to 2035 but I'll be bailing.
That's just my opinion though, appreciate JamesY has it from the horse's mouth so to speak.

Also, a year between hardback and paperback is standard; you can't blame BL for that.
Before it was 6mos I believe. Now hardbacks come out, then additional wait for mass market paperback.

My info is a year old, if sales over the last year have fallen significantly they may have decided to cut some titles out of the release plan. The siege of terra will be massive though, I was told at least one book from the perspective of each legion involved, and who knows what else. Then the final battle on the barge from about 4 perspectives. Then the final battle. Then the aftermath of each legion. Years to go. It's been nearly 10 yrs, and the main story doesn't feel half way told.

I think that's just a fast-render Daz3D engine. It's a free suite of software, perhaps the most-popular 3D rendering engine in the world right now. Poser is a superior product, but isn't free.
