Love the gritty post apoc feel

wow that comparison shot shows just how dumpy SM are... and I actually like space marines.

Maybe I need dumpy space marines.... from a different era.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Have to say absolutely love the sound of the setting for this.

Has got a real 2000AD, Paul Verhoeven-esque feel about it.

Looking forward to seeing what else is in line!

This is super cool and exciting!
I LOVE the SLA Industries RPG! Still one of my all-time favorite RPGs and settings (and my players' too).

The other day (BEFORE finding this!) I was talking with an old-time friend of mine (and fellow 40k gamer, rpg gamer, and SLA fan!) abut SLA (we are starting up a new off-world SLA rpg campaign)... And our talks ended with my suggesting that the coolest possible thing would be to build a skirmish game for playing SLA in the Cannibal Sectors (we where sort of talking about playing Necromunda too, and this plus SLA...=dream come true).
And then, only the same night after he went home... I discovered these SLA minis and the plans to make a SLA skirmish game set in the Cannibal Sectors!
WOW!

I see Daruma has released a ten man Shiver squad also:

We are having a very exciting weekend here at Daruma HQ! We have prices back and confirmed for the RPG reprint so it will be up for Pre order very soon. In addition - we have just confirmed production of the most luxurious Dice bags we've ever seen, a gorgeous book bag to keep your RPG books in and.. they may be small but they are exciting - Black and Red SLA d10's with Mr Slayers Head as the 10!
We will have artwork and pre orders up for all of this either 1st January or perhaps sooner if we get the photography done. We are on track to have the book reset by Jared and to the printers for around March, which means we can fulfill orders for approximately April - plenty of time for UK Games Expo in June where we hope to have not only a Trade stand but also perhaps an early playtest of the Wargames rules smile emoticon
Welcome to the World of Progress

Karma is a bitch.

Give me Jake, Krosstown Traffic gang, the Digger, Stormer with bio-option, some Necanthropes and Slayer at his deck. I'll be a happy camper.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Feth ya, Blitzer! Pulped many a bad (good?) guy with one of those Although someone needs to tell the concept artist that the cylinder needs to be much longer to accomodate Blitzer rounds. By about double, methinks.

As 2016 dawns around the World, we want to wish all of our Fans a very Happy Hogmanay!

- We have huge plans in 2016, and all of the Daruma team are making some major changes in order to work more closely and deliver not only the SLA RPG Reprint but also the CS1 Skirmish game, as well as expansions, factions, miniatures.. so much to do in 2016!

- First up, in January we aim to catch up with everything; the Shiver Patrol final Renders are being approved next week and then we go ahead with Printing the masters and production of the Metal and Resin products themselves. We will also be releasing the Carrien in January and Dave has already given you a peak at the superb Delia imagery that we are going with for our very first SLA Operative. As awesome as Delia looks, February is a bit a of pig.. but we will have a merry March as our first Frother arrives for St Patricks day! In the first quarter we will also be releasing the Carrien Pack squad boxes along with the Playtest rules for CS1 - by March you will have both Shiver Patrol and Carrien Packs out allowing you to get playing in CS1.

- Before all that though! We are very excited to bring you the pre-orders for the reprint of SLA Industries RPG - the book that started all of this! We are going with American Letter size, hardback and superb quality print - at £35.00 RRP we can commence production once we have taken pre orders for around 100 of this superb reprint. As a thank you to all of you for helping us achieve this milestone, everybody whom preorders before the cutoff date for printing (April ish) will receive a Very Special Exclusive Halloween Jack miniature!! This will be a unique sculpt, we intend to release Jack in October of next year as part of the Progressive Range but he will be a different pose and sculpt to this 1 - which will be unique to those of you whom pre order the RPG reprint.

Not only do we have the Hardback book, but a range of very cool products to come out with the Game; a Book bag, Dice bag and SLA d10's!! Lots of toys for the fans out there. All going well, the book will be at the printers late March / early April and due for release and distribution in May. We are aiming, if possible, to also try and get perhaps 1 or 2 more products out in print by Games Expo in June.. either way we will be attending UK Games Expo with lots of SLA goodies!

For now, we wish you all a Happy Hogmanay and leave you with this link..
