Kill Team/Chosen

So, been a while, but here's a small update: after thoroughly enjoying the Miniwargaming.com Deathwatch campaign, I have resolved to conduct a similar campaign when possible. To that end, I had some old-school circa 1998 (I feel old) chaos marines laying around, who were just wild, crazy, and distinctively 90s to pull off a psychotic Chaos kill team. Also, after a couple of games with my buddy Palleus in which the Fallen performed magnificently (Grot gun emplacement, Deff Dread, and a squad of kommandos in two turns), I decided to use the same series of magnetized arms (still WIP) to represent this unnamed but decidedly characterful squad of Chosen/Kill Team.

First, the originals. I don't recall where I got them, but I think it was one of those shady Narnia-like sections in the waaaaaay back of a FLGS in a town I was passing through. There was a quest involved and substantial bonus exp.



Now, I haven't nearly finished all of the weapons, so here is a small smattering of combinations. All the arms mesh with all the models, so look for fun combinations in my next...well, whenever I get off my butt and actually do a batrep.

Awesome. These guys are gonna have a lot of character.
