You know, I can totally see Fulgrim going into battle with a bit of Queen on the vox-net, probably timing his sword strokes to the guitar riffs and generally rocking out among the foe!

They watch you in your bed,

Or they'll send The Talon for your head...

hmmm... if you give a Harlequin squad scourge heads....
you could potentially use them for both games...

Ut would have to be my Kabuki "Phoenix Knight" (Peter Kay?) Fulgrim. The FW one has more components than the other entries combined.
Sorry Fulgrim, but you're not having my whole month to yourself. I got things to do!

I'm so new to the forum, I had no idea we had monthly hobby challenges. Now I'm pretty excited for the winner to be announced and the creative juices to start flowing.

Well, it'll end at about 3 o'clock today, and my, it's very close! Surprised we're not seeing more love for the villainous suggestion, but maybe the Rolling Stones aren't as big as they used to be!

Given your last two entries and this theme, I'm tempted to dock you points unless the title for your entry is Highlandork! There can be only Ork!

Right, I think I have an idea for this result, not overly ambitious but it fits nicely.

I... actually don't know. Help?

Hmm... would a more literal interpretation work? Like an Ork playing Queen?

If by that you mean 'can I do Freddy Mercurork, Jork Deacon, Roger Taylork and Briork May?', then hell to the yes!

In all seriousness, yeah, that'd do it! Any ork that can play guitar with any degree of skill is pretty far above your average greenskin!

Now I want to dig out my Ork Rokkers.

Quite honestly I may have to just pass and paint my army. Git it all on to be done by roughly the same date.

Hmm, should I do my Juggerlord, or my D-thirster? Juggerlord will be easier, but the D-thirster will blow it out of the water cool-wise.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

I think I'll take this opportunity and paint Lysander for this one. A little restricted with Imperial Fists, as it would likely come down to a CM or lysander. But awell. It'll be nice to have a reason to paint him.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
