I don't have the daemons codex, but I only play my Daemons as Daemonkin anyway. So yes, for every army I play, but technically not every army I own.

I wont play with someone if they dont have their own rulebook, codex, dice, tape and templates.

I put in the money to buy the supplies i need, i expect my opponent to do the same.

It's okay if they don't have their codex on hand. I have it on my Ipad.

There are few codexes I don't have. I only play two armies.
I just like reading codexes, so I can know the other armies strengths and weaknesses, and they're fluff is usually pretty good too.

Imperial Knights- 5 Standard Knights / 3 Cerastus Knights
Officio Assassinorum - 4 Assassins
CSM - 500pts? Maybe? Its from the Officio Assassinorum box so I'm pretty sure its not enough to run in a CAD
Vampire Lords- I have no idea I bought it like two days before I left country and they're still in storage so I'll have to see when I get back.]

I own four codices for my army. All from different editions.

It's called a thick skin. The Jersey born have it innately.

For my active armies, I own every codex from every edition since 3rd.

Active armies are Tau, Chaos Marines, Wolves, Eldar, Crons.

For my other codexes, I will occasionally borrow a friends to make sure I'm up on the rules and see if I want to play them.

Of course not.
Thirty pounds for a codex with a lifespan of around 18 months is daylight robbery. I can easily acquire PDFs free of charge.

Oh and if you try to overrule me over something during a game because you have a codex on paper instead of mine on a screen, I'd tell you to stick it anyway.

More or less... I'm missing most of the 6th/7th ed books, but will just keep using the 5th ed book for those until I can find them second hand.

I have the eBooks for a few armies but the ones I play I screenshotted them and printed them off nicely since I prefer the hardcopy actually

When I still played CSM, I didn't. I had a scanned one on my phone. Still glad I never paid out for that gak.
