I would do imperial fist but I dont think Mk4 looks good for them

if they ever release mark 3s then for sure.

That's one of the problems I am having. MK3 is my favorite armour and it looks great for Imperial Fists. The Imperial Fist upgrade pack does enough to the MK4 to keep me happy though. I will probably only keep 20 or the marines from the box set and give the other ten to my brother so he can have a full 40. I want a Breacher squad too which will have MK3 and so will the Templar Sword Brethren.

Death Guard, their Primarch has such awesome fluff. For the most part i'll play it as a loyalist fraction until I pick him up though.

I have had a hard time choosing between Sons of Horus, Imperial Fists, or World eaters.

I'm doing FW Ad Mech. Hopefully they come out with some plastic stuff for my army. Until then, I'll keep buying the expensive stuff.

It is between the Salamanders, White Scars, and Imperial Fists for me. I really want a legion that would be able to augment a 40K force if I decided to make another one. I am leaning toward Salamanders.

I'm surprised at the number of votes for Emperor's Children. As an EC player myself, I'm well aware of where we rank among the legions (last).

I think the newer models of the Palantine Guard, Termies and Kakophoni Marines are going to push a few of the more aesthetically minded players towards the cool kids' table.

That's what starting me into them. This set will cut costs dramatically and allow me to concentrate my funds on things like bikes and bitz bling!

This line of reasoning broke 7th edition in Fantasy. The books should be as equal as possible, even a theoretical "Codex: Squirrels with Crustacean allies" should have a fair chance to beat "Codex: God".

- Cost? FW models cost more? Because Thudd guns are more expensive than Wraithknights and Riptides. Nope, not a good argument. This is an expensive game. We play it knowing that, and also knowing that, realistically, it's cheaper than hookers and blow.

My first CSM army was Emperor's Children, and I'd initially thought to do a 30k army of them when FW started this whole business. I pretty much completely lost interest in them after reading Fulgrim, with any residual desire to do them mopped up after reading Angel Exterminatus.
