Just use the dark angels colours, the base dark green and bright green for edging. You should give p3 a go I did and never looked back. The only citadel paints I use now are chaos black spray and the blood for the blood god paint.
That shouldn't be too hard to do. Though it may make me want to make a DA army, and that is strictly forbidden since my brother plays them.

You won't mess up drybrushing. A wash followed by a drybrush is a very easy trick that yields quite satisfying results.

I second washing/drybrushing for Stormcast armor. I used a series of shades and drybrushed metallics and was pretty happy with the result:
Spoiler:
You just gotta careful not to be too heavy with your drybrush; I made a few mistakes with putting too much paint on the model where I didn't want it, but was able to cover it up. As Duncan would say on Warhammer TV, with drybrushing, "you can always add more, but it's difficult to take it away."

Be sure to post pics once you've gotten one finished! It's always cool to see player-created Stormhosts!

You could drybrush and line highlight.

The breast plate to me is something that really wants a line highlight since it has such a large flat surface, but the shoulders and the legs would be much easier to do with a drybrush.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.
