Renegades and heretics.

It's like playing guard, but everything is cheaper. Your hordes of infantry are better, you have tons of upgrade options, lots of interesting rules, and best of all, LOTS of artillery.

Oh, and CSM/CD battle brothers is pretty awesome as well. Daemons have great synergy with guard.

Well, I play Tyranids, and I think they're fun.

But pretty far from TMs to be sure.

Orks is where I went. Fun to put together, fun to play as and fun to play against. For a barbaric army they make you think and there's something satisfying about krumping armour with a pk or even taking out a termie with a lucky grot shot.
