Hi Dakka,
I was wondering, seriously, if a new website could add something that isn't here, on Dakka.
Here we have lists building, a sales department, a meeting department, etc...
There are a lot of forums, there is Vassal if you want to play/test something...
Do you have an idea ? Something you miss / you wish was on the Internet ?
A website to store you lists ? I really don't know what could help the Community.
I don't need something more, personnally.

I have a lot of free-time this year, and I am familiar with PHP, CSS and HTML, so, if I can help, why not.

How about an up-to-date SM, AM, IK, ORK, TAU... online painter. I know some exist here and there. So far the only useful one I found was on BaC. What I am really looking for is something that covers more factions with quality line drawings. Right now I have to use PS to build my own template to test some schemes for my shinny new IK.

I also like the idea of a site that has links to hobby articles across the web. Allow users to submit them for a given topic. So then, when you want to know how to paint a glowing red power sword, you don't have to sift through 10 year old forum posts with broken images, but have good stuff consolidated for you.

What this form needs is some sub-sections. For example, the tactics and list forums should have ITC subsections since that format is big enough now and functions very differently when being discussed.

The background section and general discussion don't need it, but YMDC and Battle Reports could use it too. It's just a pain having to weed past all the other rule sets to find what I'm looking for. It's also annoying to post a list and be told to make changes that are illegal in the ITC, even if you marked it as such, and it's equally annoying trying to discuss tactics when both parties are discussing two completely different things because of the format they're playing.

I'll pluck you like a flower.
