Well the orignal topic was, who could we add to a deepstriking assaulting unit to make it awesome, and then it devolved into the YMDC thread.

So in the spirit of the original topic,

I like to add a Chaplain from the Pinion battle company, to allow delicious T1 assaults from deepstrike, armed with Swiftstrike and murder to eviscerate MEQs.

Thought about Calgar, but losing the raven guard chapter tactics isn't worth it to me.

Let's assume for now that it's 100% legal.

On the Assumption that it is legal (my stance on this is debatable but not for this thread), I think SW Lords can get Deepstrike via Terminator armor and possibly jump packs. Don't have my codex with me atm so don't quote me on that.

However I think someone mentioned a Sang Priest a while back. Those might be better since the unit should be rather killy by itself so having another beatstick in it won't do much more than be overkill (and possibly subjecting yourself to enemy shooting in the next turn). Having something that instead buffs them (especially durability) seems more desirable.
