So a semi pic heavy update today, since I'm still nearly out of yellow I've been putting some more detail work into this guy. Finally named it Stellae Somnum, roughly translated into Star of Nightmares to go along with its back story which I may get around to posting once it's finished.

Not a whole lot to go over it's just basically a bunch of detail work, the addition of some gold trim and some tidbits of blue finally making their way to the armor plates and some other details like the gun housings for the point defense bolt cannons and lascannons.

Always up for criticism, so please share, I know they aren't the highest quality photos but until I can obtain a better camera this is all I've got

Alright I've been out of the mix for a little while due to lack of Internet, a lack of time and a lot other minor issues. But that does not mean I have not been hard at work!

Over the last weekend of June and I was lucky enough to be able to acquire one of the new forgeworld store exclusive models, the new Praetor Tribune. So he is now joined the workbench alongside the 30th Anniversary Marine as I decide where they will fit into my Army.

It has been suggested that the 30th Anniversary Marine be painted up and set to work as a part of my 40K Blood Ravens Army buy a few of my friends, instead of my Imperial Fists. This does sound like a good plan but none the less I'd like to know what you think.

Despite the semi-official 40K rules for the Tribune that are floating around, I have decided to go with an imperial fists paint scheme for this model. However I am torn between making ma first company Templar brethren HQ or painting him up more to fit in with a standard seat or boarding themed Army. Either way I believe he will be a lot of fun to both build and play with in the future.

With that out of the way now for the point everybody is hoping for and probably the main reason everybody visits this page the pictures!

I've been able to make quite a bit of progress on my Warlord as of late and even been able to finally come up with a suitable name for it.
Named Stallae Somnum which I think I mentioned in a previous post. Anywa, ive finished the main body save for pistons on the legs as those are going to be painted weathered and added near the end.

I've also made a considerable dent in the enormous amount of Armor plating this thing has. Next on the to do list will be finishing the "toes" and working my way up from there.

In some of the pictures so you can see the work-in-progress gaming table I have as well. It is very much a work in progress so as things go I will probably increase my work on it and showcase it here as steps progressed. It is designed for larger scale battles being a 5 foot by 8 foot table and is itself designed around a heresy themed Battleground but enough with that.. 'ere we go!

So I've been away for a while due to life reasons so there haven't been any updates in almost 5 months! Yikes.. however I finally have this finished beauty to show for it.
