Runs into aspect host with dark reapers - cries.

With the prevalence of bikes and spiders I am certainly bringing lots of reapers to the next tournament. OFC the Spiders can still do their damage - but with reapers on the back line they are dying at a pretty steady clip.

I had been running 2 units of DRs. Like 'em lots but I dunno as they are a 'solution' to Spiders. If there's a reasonable amount of LoS blocking terrain, FlickerJump ....

LOS blocking terrain should be something of a rarity. Plus spiders have 12 inch guns so it's easy to deploy in such a way that they can't jump behind something if they want to shoot you. Just saying though - If and eldar list is spamming spiders vs a list that has some spiders some bikes and some DR. I think the DR eldar has some serious advantages. Running into eldar vs eldar is basically expected at a top end torny.

I quite disagree here.

And so does the FLG run events. There have been the two larger pieces at their GTs, plus the two 'billboard' pieces that block LoS ... and these have been the last couple of LVOs and BAOs. I suppose I do need to expand to going to the B-side Bash again (been 4 years). I hope Brawl in the Fall comes back for 2016.

Havn't seen the actual LVO tables with their terrain but all local tornies I've been too have been pretty low on cover especially LOS blocking terrain.

LoS blocking terrain totally favors Tau and Eldar with all their Assault Phase jumping, I'll grant that, but it still ought to be a regular occurrence on the battle field. 3 to 4 pieces, capable of blocking a rhino, chimera or maybe even a Wave Serpent head on, height-wise, too. Not much bigger, though. Pretty much what the GW ruins offer when they are the solid walls.

FrontLineGaming sells pieces that Riptides and BloodThirsters can hide behind. I think those are a little too tall, plus you can hide a nearly a whole platoon of IG.

since your essentially trying to build a similar list

Grizzyzz, thanks, that was a good read and I understand a lot more. Btw, the author of the 5th post in this thread, KillswitchUK, is Mr. Alex Harrison.

Well.. neato! I really liked his list at LVO, even though I was rooting for one of the Tau players that didnt get top 8 but made top 20
