The symbol is actually the symbol for US currency rotated 90 degrees...

Just to clarify, The icon is a stylised dollar ($) symbol that reference capitalism in the source material (song of Disturbed) replicated on the models. The customer love the band and the song, and wished to have an army painted to resemble the clip of said song (Disturbed - Land of confusion)

Any reference to Nazi Germany is unintentional and unmeant. To be honest, until someone here made the reference, no one here in the studio (over 20 people) even made a connection.

If there is a connection to be made, Disturbed made a great design concept of "capitalistic totalitarism" using the currency symbol and the stylisation of powerful imagery. Certainly fitting a 40k dystopian universe.

After being told it looks like a nazi symbol and screwing your eyes up while looking at a tiny picture then perhaps ? Then looking at the picture in its correct size there can be no mistake and only somebody with issues would be offended. It's clearly not a swastika so grow up folks and move on.

Really if you see nazi symbolism in every black,white and red coloured object around get help. Plus if you really are offended then I would suggest this site is not for you as it contains images of death and violence(yes of a gaming nature but most people are able to understand the difference).

I love the paint job and would be proud to have that on my table.
