1. Space Marines On Wolves is the single thing I hate most about modern 40k fluff. I can swallow everything else into a single internally consistent narrative but not Space Marines On Wolves.

2. Back in the prehistorical times of Citadel MIniatures there was a Riding Lizard released that plastic RTB01 Space Marines could ride. It didn't take off. And its still not as silly as Space Marines On Wolves

Definitely a fair call.

Looks like GW mixed up their files with those of The Land Before Time and just rolled with it when they realised their mistake haha.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

I need to make a unit of those for my custom Imperial Guard force.

Has anyone ever considered Space Marines (or better yet, Orc "Cowboys") riding Tyranids? Might get some use out of those Pryovore miniatures...

I’ve seen a number of ork “looted” ‘nids. Funny and cool when done well.

Personally I'm unreasonably fond of the horse-mounted chaos marines

In fairness those are supposed to be "chaos steeds" which had more toughness and wounds than the marines themselves (!) but it really doesn't look like anything 40k by modern standards.
