Yeah...that's not happening.
You want Grav spam fixed real quick? Remove GMC's nigh-invulnerability to the traditional counter of MCs--Poison.
The traditional counter of Vehicles was getting blown up by an antitank weapon in a single shot yet superheavy vehicles are immune to that and instead lose some hull points. So I guess we should remove that rule from all superheavy vehicles then too? So that the traditional counter to vehicles works on titans as well?
You don't Explode but you still lose D3 Hull Points.
They don't get a rule that they can ignore Haywire or Graviton weapons, now do they? Armourbane and Melta don't lose their bonuses against vehicles, right?
"The traditional counter of vehicles" hasn't been getting blown up by an antitank weapon in a single shot for awhile. It's whatever can strip hull points.
Also I pretty much get the feeling that you have butt hurtedness from wraithknights as that is the ONLY GMC people ever complain about.
Did you ever think that there is a reason for that...?
Tyranid GMCs are a joke and Tau GMCs are a joke if you can get in close enough with Grav or CC units that can deal with them.

People still complain about riptides as if they were the devil.
Riptides aren't GMC's.

Looks like they changed it. Forgeworld's apocalypse rules had haywire only effect SHV on 6's. I guess it got changed with the 7th BRB.

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!
|
SM players have the false belief that the IoM will triumph over the Xenos and Heretics.
IK players have way too much disposable income.
IG players, once again, believe the IoM is "all that".
CSM players are all clutching at straws (both on the table and fluff wise).
Daemon players are sadistic.
Eldar + Tau players are trying too hard.
Ork players have some form of mental dissability, seriously how can all of them find Ork quotes funny?

I wouldn't say all, as a chaos player I would say 888pts for a GMC is too much already.
But yes some (*cough*Wraithknight*cough*) are definitely under costed.

Not the Lord of skulls. I am talking of a chaos GMC. The only GMC's chaos has are: 666pts, 777pts, 888pts and 999pts. and they are definitely not worth such a high price. Automatically Appended Next Post: Martel732 wrote:I've never seen the 888 pts one. I have seen the Stormsurge too much already.
You don't see it because no one is willing to pay 888pts for something which is only worth 500pts (at most!).
