Sounds good, I think that's a good way of splitting it up. What are you seeing Halberds as doing? Axe/spear profile choice like the Gondor Fiefdoms guys?

I'm thinking either that or bog standard double handed weapons. Keep it simple.

Axe/spear is a good mix - can support but you also have a special attack. Would just need to clarify that you can't use special attack while supporting (unless that is already covered by the rules somehow?).

One thing I spotted skimming through was that the cannon and mortar crews have different D even though both say "with armour" - Also, not sure they should have armour anyway?

Well spotted, that's a typo. If they're State Troops, they should have armour. I'll edit accordingly before it goes into the pdf.

I've just noticed the Huntsmen should be 7 points as well. making a note of it here for later editing.

Captain should have a Longbow option too.

Wulfhearts description should read 'Huntsmarshal'.

Does anyone have any more information about the War Altar than the snippets I'm getting off Lexicanum? It just seems to be some sort of chariot that issues buffs as far as I can ascertain, as opposed to anything magical.

Yeah, the War Altar is more of an inspiration/morale thing than a magical weapon or anything... There is the Luminark of Hyissh which is basically a laser (bunch of magnifying glasses+magic light beam) mounted on a carriage, but that's Wizardy rather than Priesty.

Maybe the War Altar could be inspired by Galadriel's mirror thing? A stationary buffing object of sorts?

I'm thinking that Volkmar himself will provide some sort of +1 courage buff, and the War Altar some kind of Fury buff for all allied units within range (12"?)

I'll work something out.
